Alvin says… another track left over from ‘In Flight’ and it has the Kokomo singers who were fantastic and Alan Spenner on bass. Boz Burrell was going to be the bass player at the Rainbow Theatre gig but he went off to join Bad Company. He came to me one day and said he’d been asked to play with them although he’d much rather be playing jazz. I told him ‘Take the gig and make some money. You can always play your jazz later!’
