This shit is getting taken down.
I made this remix on a whim and wanted to share.
I first was really just trying to make some 808 accompniement percussion loops to my eurorack system and totally got pushed off the path by wanting to do "just a lil more". So what I ended up doing was making a full remix of the track "hella good" by No Doubt. I admit I hated this song when it came out, but it's SO DAMN GOOD. So any way, my eurorack drums are basically a 909, so when I added some 808 drums on top, I just started to groove. Then I decided to see if I could get one more thing on there.
I was already using the Akai MPC One to make all the 808 loops into the black box and I wanted to hear some lyrics. i had this acapella of Hella good in there and all I had to do was sync the MPC to the black box which was already synced to the eurorack and I was ready to go.
So I recorded all the samples into black box, then jammed a bit, and then recorded this video. You will notice I don't touch the MPC, that's because I was done using it. I only used it to make the sample loops you hear on the Black Box.
