hi i have lost the white plank in 4:10... what is it the name? where can i get one? I have it almost finished. thanks....for all yours videos and comments ... otherwise I would never have built it.
Ah ok, that might be the Foam Board for the Seats !? I think you can buy this or a similar Material at any School Supply or Craft Store , it called Sintra Board . I am glad you like my Videos
I am not sure what is right or wrong but I can tell you what works best for me . Before applying the Decals I seal the Surface with Gloss Varnish , than I put the Decals in distilled Water for a few second , when the Decal Film starts to slide the Time is right . I put some Decal Solution on the Model and attache the Decal. If needed I apply some Decal softener after the Decal has set for a Minute so the Decal can sink into Cracks, dents and curves and finally I seal the Decal with Gloss or Matt Varnish, that's all.
Thank you that you enjoy this Video Series. I can highly recommend this Kit because it's something far from the usual and very detailed. This Series has 9 Videos and the last will be posted at March 13.2019 .
Well before applying Decals you should seal the Surface with a Gloss Varnish and seal them in after with a coat of Varnish ( Matt- semi Gloss or Gloss ) , that should take care of the problem
Fantastic. It brought everything back to looking good. Many thanks again. I just bought the OcCre Victory limited edition. Hope im not over ambitious. Eeeeek.
Sorry also meant to say, you mentioned part number 220 being the wrong shape and you made some ore for the sides of the seats inside the cabin, these are supposed to be covered in the green leather effect and fitted at the end wit the seats, it sat down and read everything on paper that came with it and found that instruction.
Now that you say it , I see it too written in the Instruction, I missed that Point. But as I said already in the Video : the Shape is wrong, in my Opinion !
@@davaoshipmodeller Hi when the seats are covered and placed in the cabin the side panel fits just nicely. but awesome model anyway. had to refer to your video's a couple of times. many thanks.
@@stevebingham5886 well I should have tried it in this Way. Little Mistake I made, anyway thank you for your Comment I and other Builders will appreciate it
Hi again, you have just cut out the shape of the drivers seat, what is part number 63 for then it is listed on the parts list for each panel nut nowhere does it mention this part in the instructions or the scale drawings but it does fit in there perfect, I know you have to place the white foam board in there as well. just seems strange ???
Hello Steve, I believe you mean Part #63 which is 1.5mm Mahogany and I think that is intended as the Underside for the Drivers Seat. I didn't install it because nobody will see it.
@@davaoshipmodeller yes I though so, I also find it strange that the seat curves with the cabin roof, it would mean that anyone sitting on either side of that seat would be sitting at an uncomfortable angle.
@@stevebingham5886 yes, but as usual we always have to keep in Mind that this a commercial Model Kit and not a 1:1 Replica, so there will be always commitments to do.
