A very nice result and shows what can be done with this kit with a little care. I have built one myself. One thing I added was metal tires. I used 1/32" x 1/4" wide brass. The width seems perfect. I cut and rolled the tire to the approximate circumference with the ends overlapping a little. Then I filed the two ends at a steep angle so they could overlap and be soldered. The steep angle made sure there was a large surface area for the soldering for strength. I used a dozen or so little clamps to hold the unsoldered rim to a wheel. The soldered the joint. I could then slide the wheel off and color it with brass blackening solution.
This model looks fantastic and well done on the build. The final look is a bit like it just came from the coach builders workshop with no weathering over time. Maybe a few sweat stains on the leather and dirty finger marks by the door handle. Just an thought.
Prior to purchasing my model (which I’d had in mind for some years), I watched all of your 9 build videos. An excellent build compendium which, whilst not answering all of my queries, did justice to most. There again, what series could answer all questions for everyone? I can proceed with more confidence now. Thank you.
Thank you very much and I am sure you will enjoy this Project . As for the Colors I've used ; well I have used regular and cheap Tint Colors for Latex Paint, which you can buy in every Hardware Store here in the Philippines. Those Tint Colors are Acrylic Colors and can be mixed with Water . The Red is called Bulletin Red and the Brand is Island Paint . The Rest are Tamiya Colors . I hope that helps . Happy modelling , John
Danke dir Mario.
