Amaury & Nati are off! 

Hello everyone, I chose this photo for the thumbnail, because I thought it was the sweetest moment in the video. I thought it was clear that Amaury was leaving - with his backpack and man bag. Since then, I've seen some comments from people thinking Molly was sick. Therefore, I've changed the title in the hope it's clearer that Amaury and Nati are leaving Molly as they're going away, not the other way around. Just to be clear, I would not vlog Molly's final moments with Amaury and it never crossed my mind anyone would think that from this title. Luckily, Molly is in great health! Love, Stephanie x

Dining in the Red Salon for the cooler seasons makes all the sense in the world. It's tradition is it not, to have a red dining room. It also differentiates the change from guest season to family time. Maria reads a poem to seal the special feeling.

Amaury is gold. Apart from his obvious talents, he is loyal and loves deeply. It is so moving the way he engages with Molly. It is a real relationship and beautiful to see. Not a surprise when you see his parents.

Maria, that poem brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for bringing such wit, intelligence, humour and creativity to us all. Gosh we will miss you. 🇦🇺

It's so sweet Amaury's folks are there for Molly, allowing him and Nati to truly go and enjoy their time knowing Molly is well. She is such a sweet girl. And Lancelot on your lap is the cutest thing. 💕

Kinda amusing to see foods from the French Quarter being served in France as novelties 😂 Got to love some beignets.

In case Maria doesn’t know, composer John Alden Carpenter set that Tagore poem, and several others, to music for voice and piano. It’s a lovely song cycle called Gitanjali. Maybe when Maria comes back, she and Stephanie can do it together.

I loved that poem. My sister and I spend happy days at the beach watching the children play, watching them meet, building castles, playing with shells and pebbles. We do this year, after year, after year. Thank you Maria.

Nati was so excited, as she should be! She works so hard during the season! They both deserve a long vacation! My favorite part was Lancelot curled up in your lap. He's learning how to fit right in at LaLande.

Lancelot on Stephanie’s lap was T.C. (Too Cute). It’s funny how the one in the family who didn’t want a dog becomes the dogs favorite & vice versa.

Dear Stephanie, this message is surely going to be much longer than an usual message should be. I have been watching your videos for past couple of years and undoubtedly enjoyed all the episodes a lot. I live in Uk for past 25 yrs but originally from India, a place called Kolkata in West Bengal. I thought of writing a comment many a times in the past but somehow I didn’t. Yesterday Maria recited a poem written by the noble laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Tagore was from West Bengal as well. Tagore is the Shakespeare of Bengal as we all think. And he created a place , called Shantiniketan in the rural suburbs of West Bengal which is a hub of literature, poetry, music and etc etc. Many great poets, writers from Europe visited that place and still do. It is a recognised University now. I always used to tell my hubby who is a cancer specialist in Uk and came from the same place in India as well that Stephanie actually created a literary atmosphere like Tagore, just like shantiniketan in her chateau, culturally so rich and yet wrapped in warm love and life. Hence I really felt that I need to convey my thoughts to you after Maria, one of super talented members of Lalande family chose to recite one of his great masterpieces during dinner table conversation. I am sure, Tagore would have loved to see , appreciate and adore your immense capabilities and talents to create a place like Lalande where you & Philip along with all other members of the Lalande international family together weaving a beautiful tapestry of ART and HUMANITY at the highest level .Best wishes and Loads of love.❤️❤👏🏻❤️❤️

Those beignets were so cute with a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top. They are served at the Cafe du Monde, NOLA 3 to a plate with a mountain (a MOUNTAIN) of powdered sugar on top. Chickory coffee can be served at night with none to very little caffeine effect to all but the most sensitive due to the caffeine content being greatly reduced by it's mix with roasted chickory root, making it essentially naturally half caff or less. At the Cafe du Monde it's served brewed very strong (to combat all that sugar) in small cups. I fell in love with the flavor (the chickory root produces a mellow rich velvety coffee no matter how strong it's brewed) and order it through Reily Foods. The label on any chickory coffee will recommend using way less than usual to brew a pot. They're not kidding. For brewing a 12 cup pot I use about 2 tablespoons and it's plenty strong enough.

Love Natie's bag! Your Aunt and Uncle are so elegant even so early in the morning. Yeah Kara for stepping in with the cooking! Yeah more Maria in the Vlogs! Butter Beer!! Woohoo!! My youngest daughter was filmed and photographed drinking the frozen butter beer at the pre-opening of The Wizarding World by I think "Wired" and Brazilian News while at Olivander's. I think they picked her because of her long curly hair and the effects of picking your wand. Also, it was a trip to celebrate all three of my children's birthdays which are in the same month. They had the First Birthday in the Three Broomsticks. When the manager found out there were 3 birthdays in the 3 Broomsticks she was overjoyed and really made an impact on my kids! 💞💗💞

What I love is the wonderful atmosphere at Lalande, everything going on but warmth and love, what a n amazing team you are ❤❤❤
