I live just outside of Lake George. Your video gave me the ideal of an over night trip for me and the wife to go to old forge.

Great video. I spend a lot of time riding through the Adirondack going to the Americade in Lake George, but it has been a long time since I have been there. Video brought back a lot of great memories. Hope you saw the sky jump in Lake Placid.

I didn’t see that, but there was a toboggan run at Mirror Lake that could have been a ski jump.

Awesome video Chris! The Adirondack park is amazing! Even I-87 is amazing through the park. But the scenery is breathtaking on smaller roads. Cheers Chris!

Just a quick constructive tips as it could be very interesting to get a Google Map snapshot of where you took the videos? So your followers will be able to get an idea of where. Regards!

That’s a great idea. I’ve scheduled videos through early August, but after that I’ll try to incorporate maps showing my travels. Thanks!

Chris, my wife and I almost exclusively watch your videos on the 70" big-screen TV in the living room, and I can tell you the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps is very noticeable. The trees, buildings, oncoming traffic, and highway signs are blurred with the 30 fps setting while you are traveling, and things just aren't as clear while you are moving compared to prior videos. It was so noticeable that I went back and pulled up another video you did that had a lot of trees while traveling (Radio Review and Options for you Can-Am Spyder) just to make sure it wasn't me. It wasn't me. Then I pulled up this video on my laptop to write this comment but the blurring isn't as bad on my laptop because the video aspect ratio is so much smaller on my 15" laptop screen. I am not saying this to get you to change your setting back to 60 fps or threaten not to watch your videos anymore - not at all. I am just pointing out that for those like me who almost exclusively watch your videos on big-screen TV's, the 30 fps is noticeably far less quality. For those who watch your videos on devices with much smaller screens, they may not even notice. I am not complaining. Next, I was glad to see that you went with the Garmin XT and not the XT-2 that I purchased. Garmin made some major changes to the XT-2 and trip planning and routes are far more complicated than it needs to be. With the XT, you can easily import .GPX trip files that you create on a computer. Not so with the XT-2. I sure wish I had purchased the XT.

The next video scheduled uses these same settings and ND filter, but the next one, climbing Prospect Mountain, uses a stronger filter. Not sure if that makes a difference. I’ll be shooting a few videos in New Hampshire in a few days and I may experiment with the settings some more. I really appreciate this feedback.

I love passing vehicles on my 2019 Spyder. I does great. St you speed of 44 mph you should drop two gears and grab the throttle and hang on. You’d be surprised how quickly you can pass. The gearing compensates for less horsepower. Your jacket is a European type hence the reversed zipper. It is NOT a women’s jacket

Lovely video Chris, just wondering do you use voice commands to start and stop the video? or do you just press the button to start/stop etc ?
@SpyderMinimalist
@SpyderMinimalist 28 дней назад
I press the buttons. Very frustrating, and sometimes dangerous when the machine is moving. I should look into using voice commands.

@@SpyderMinimalist Hey, yes I did wonder, i have the same dilema, Ive tried the voice commands however sometimes, I can be chatting away while its recording and all of a sudden it stops recording, even though Ive not said gopo stop recording! so do watch out for that. Ive also just discovered by accident I can just push the recording button once on the top and it just starts recording and If i hit the botton to stop it just powers off. I'm going to have to play with it more I think. I have the gopro 12 version by the way.

Enjoying your video's. I understand you are filming while driving but once in awhile your head movements left and right are so fast I almost get dizzy. You need to stay safe in your driving but it would improve the visual if the head movements could be slowed down just a little bit. Other than that, keep on filming.

Can you get a 360 camera for part time use? Can you live stream and give us plenty of warning? Are you on Facebook…?

No, no, yes. I don’t plan on adding a second camera time soon. I’m not sure I would want to live stream something like this. Find me on FB at Spyder Minimalist.

@SpyderMinimalist what do you mean Chris? The engine is made in Austria and most of the electronics are from Asian countries. The RT and F3 are assembled in Valcourt, Quebec. I've been to that plant twice and watching the assembly line is very impressive.
