I have been listening Angelina Jordan for about two years, now it has become a ritual to listen to her voice every single day from some of the song recorded on my iPad. Her voice is so soothing it’s beyond belief and have observed the steady growth in right direction. My wish is she remains humble and entertains the world as she grows I wish her best of health and happy life ahead.

I’ve seen everything she’s ever done a washer since she’s one and a half years of age there’s no song as she’s done that I haven’t seen I got 150 her songs in my private collection to me and she’s number one how my top 10 singers of all time time

As someone that followed Angelina in the years before this performance, I can't even put into words how special it was to witness that moment in her career. She had said since she was 3 years old that she would sing for Simon some day. When word got out in Oct 2019, that she would be on AGT in January, there were many fans speculating what song she might sing, but it was a closely guarded secret. The anticipation was high for months, and then on that night in January 2020, Angelina stepped out on that stage in front of Simon and did...that! There were many fans with teary eyes that night. BTW: It's Angelina's "Angels" also BTW... I know I commented this in the bio on the last video, but since you mentioned her bare feet, I will share it again for those that missed it.... *Why Angelina always sings barefoot* - When Angelina was 6 years old, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. They talked for a while and discussed their dreams. It was cold and the girl had scars on her feet. Seeing this, Angelina took off her shoes and gave them to the girl. The girl thanked her and told Angelina she would pray for her every day. That day Angelina made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. To this day, whenever Angelina is performing in public, she sings barefoot as a way to remember that little girl and to remind us that there are less fortunate people in the world that could use our help. Angelina holds so true to this promise that she has sung outdoors in Norway, in december... barefoot. She has sung at a dinner with ex-pres Obama... barefoot. She went on AGT (possibly the biggest stage in the world)...bare foot. She made a promise at 6 years old, and has stuck strong to it for years. That takes a special kind of person.

Do you know why she performs barefoot? Because when she was 6 she met a girl that didn’t have any shoes. Angelina then promised to not perform with shoes before everyone in the world had shoes.

You see a 13 year old coming on stage, barefoot (see the story below), wearing the suit she made herself with a print from her grandmothers art and she starts singing the arrangement she made herself. As soon as she starts singing she captivates the jury and audience and doesn’t let them go until she is ready with them leading to immense release and wave of emotion at the end from the audience. She has an incredible talent of story telling and conveying emotions: she makes me hear and feel the story. Apart from an inspiring person, she is also a very kind, modest and caring person. She goes barefoot because at the age of 6 she gave away her shoes to a poor street girl. Ever since she performed barefoot in remembrance of that girl and and to raise awareness for poor children. She participated in numerous charities to raise money for good causes.

It is truly a gift from God to hear this angel and other angels like her sing. Angelina is the greatest I have ever heard, period.

I don't know if you know this, but queen was so impressed with this version of their song that they gave Angelina the copyright and permission to record and release her version of this song. I'm kind of hoping for a long version on her album

Angelina has profound and deep reason for performing barefoot. She was with her family in a city in the Middle East A girl about her age was on the street weighing people for money She struck up a coversation with the girl and asked her what her dream was--she said she wanted to be a doctor. She asked Angelina's dream and she replied she wanted to be a singing star. They agreed to pray for each other's success Angelina noticed she had no shoes and her feet had sores. She took off her shoes and gave them to the girl who was very grateful Angelina vowed at a very young age to sing barefoot until all children in the world have shoes to protect their feet. She even wrote and published a book about that story illustrated by her grandmother (available on her website). She is the youngest published author in Norway. Just thought you should know. I would suggest next her newest video, "Suspicious Minds." Two of her originals also, "Million Miles" about her grandfather's death, and "What is Life," --find the one with the jazz piano and guitar accompaniment.

She is in the process of having the world recognize her as a SUPERSTAR. Outfit for AGT: AJ's grandmother, Mery Zamani, is a famous artist and she did the artwork for this outfit. Mery Zamani was a child prodigy and has been a major force in AJ's upbringing. There is no way you can experience Angelina Jordan without becoming very emotional. This being moves mountains.

After they talked for a long time, she gave the girl her shoes and vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world's children had them. Since that time, Angelina has always performed barefoot in public. According to Angelina, she tells the judges during her ‘Gloomy Sunday‘ audition that she was 7 years old. I also read that Angelina was 9 yrs 2 months when she recorded ‘I Put a Spell In You’.

When she was 7 and ready to start off her life, the girl at Norway's Got Talent asked if she was ready. She said yes, almost like , yeah get out of my way my future calls. She was never nervous. She was 7 and had learned entire songs, several of them. They were old-time jazz songs and standards. It is not congruous with people of today,. They do not know those songs and would not like them if they heard them.

I think the story behind her bare feet is as follows. Angelina was 6 years old and saw another child walking outside and she was barefoot. Her feet were cut and calloused. Angelina gave her own shoes to the little girl and promised she would always perform bare footed to bring attention to the many children who have no shoes.

Most artist, when you've heard a few songs, you can pretty much imagine what the next song will sound like. I know you like Dimash and Diana and rightfully so, but they are included in that observation. Angelina, will throw you a curve ball then follow it up with a change up. Sorry about the baseball analogies but, you get the drift. From a A Song for A, How great Thou Art to I Will Survive and a whole lot in between, she can and does do it all. If you really want to shed some tears, think about lost love ones, then listen to her original Million Miles. No over the top vocal acrobatics. Just powerful heartfelt lyrics performed flawlessly.

Barefoot Angel for the File name. For one of her early video's check out her singing "I Who Have Nothing" age 6. She is in a recording studio for the first time, she sang four songs that day but I have only found this song. Remember to turn on the CC so you can see the engineers comments at the end. Also remember she is 6, reading and singing in a second language. You will hear her without any studio effects or production. Great reactions to Angelina, you may want to read up on the reason she sings barefoot. She is the youngest published author in Norway with a book written about the reason.

Great reaction. You have talked about how Angelina sings in the classical style from the 30's and 40's. That's quite true. She started singing when she was 1 1/2, and then when she was around 3 her grandmother Mery Zamani (who is quite a remarkable person herself) introduced her to jazz, and from then on Angelina spent hours a day listening to the great jazz singers like Ella Fitzgerald and Billy Holliday, and working to pick up their singing styles and skills. As a consequence Angelina became an astoundingly good singer of classical jazz. Some of tunes she has covered include My Funny Valentine, I'm a Fool to Want You, All of Me, You Make Me Feel So Young, Cry Me A River, What a Beautiful World, Smile, and Fly Me to the Moon. Check out any of them and you will be simply amazed. But what is even more amazing is that she sings so many other styles, and is the master of every one. This includes blues, pop, and country. Check our for instance her covers of Patsy Kline's Crazy, Etta James' I'd Rather Go Blind, or Whitney Houston's I Am Nothing. You've never seen anything like it.
