Love the content, without you I never would have even considered cowboy boots and within a week I already have 3 pair (vtg Justin Pythons, some Lucchese made in the late 80s, and Double H Domestic steel toe Graham's for work). I was having serious issues with Plantar Fasciitis and can safely report I haven't felt any bottom foot pain in the last 3 days. Keep doing you!

New to the boot world always had work boots never bought boots like you have on this video soon as I saw it I decided to get those same exact ones saw a few more of your videos you mentioned taking out the insoles I had left the insoles in here they're a little tight I then remove them a lot more room they feel a lot more comfortable I'm already looking for my second pair it can be addictive thank you keep the videos coming

I would love to visit more boots stores just to be able to try on more boots than I have access to. In some areas people get pigeon holed into certain boot styles unfortunately. Those are nice boots. Definitely a distinguishing toe shape. Loving these quick impression videos again. 👍👍

I got one except the chocolate one with green stitching on the shaft. Its nice just squeaks when I walk ha.. love them though made in Texas.

Hey Jeremiah love the content just got my first “fancy” pair of boots got Canada west 8081’s wanted to know if you had any advice for taking care of bull hide leather and deer tan boots kind of the same set up as your hondo’s thanks!!

That looks like a great pair of boots! Bullhide is a great tough leather. Bick 4 should do great for a conditioner. You can use saddle soap first when it's really dirty but it's not always necessary. Also if you're going to be wearing it around in the snow, I would also consider a weather proofing of some kind. Good look to them. Not really into the black vamp with natural color sole. I don’t think I would pay north of $600 for a bonded leather heel. And definitely would wear without the insole. Thanks for the review.

I dig the natural sole.with a black vamp, what kills these for me is the wide toe, and double stitches welt. Give em a cutter toe, ot medium round and single stitch welt and I'm 100% in on these badboys

Totally! I used to do them a lot before Covid so now with stores opening back up I'm all over it. I just went on a 4 state tour with Hondo Boots and visited 14 stores. Recorded over 20 videos so you'll be seeing a lot more of these throughout the rest of this year!

Question for you, I have a pair of Tecova caiman bellies in a 15EE (like my other two pairs which fit great) and these just feel slightly narrow, I love wearing them but wont do it for too long because it feels just a bit too tight, what is the secret to breaking them in to feel as good as my calf skins?

Hey Jerry! You could do a couple of things. Keep them conditioned more than usual and wear them to break them in a little faster. Or you could use a boot stretch spray shopbickmore.com/boot-stretch-pump/. Be careful with the stretch spray because it may stain some lighter colored leathers and condition after it's stretched. Hope this helps!

Will your feet form to the AB Oxbow soles, if you remove the foam pad?

Yes! It is a traditional leather insole under the foam pad so it will form to your feet after a few weeks/months of regular wear

Just the only issue with ab is that they're pretty expensive but they do have their horse power line, those are made the same way except that they're made in mexico instead of the us. A cheaper option

The exotic Horse Power boots might even be better than exotic ABs because they have a leather stacked heel

Regular Horse Power boots are definitely lesser quality but their Top Hand line seems awesome. They are just made in Mexico instead of ABs being made in US

How can you tell if your boot has a bonded leather heel?

If you can't see any definitive lines of stacked leather but it still looks like leather, it's probably bonded leather or some other composite.

Anderson Bean is nice! Composite heel sucks. No more wide toes for me. Got a few. Really like the “7”, “V”, etc. toe and round best.

I've tried really hard several times to buy Anderson Bean I just couldn't do it.. Fit-and-finish looks rough.. sometimes the stitching looks not the best.. and these were all advertisement photos they should be looking pretty good.. And those boots in particular that's a lot of money for a plain-looking top.. considering what they have in those boots price-wise I think they could do a lot better for that price

It's not my favorite toe shape either. I wish they would make more different toes in production so we could see what they are like in persons but this is pretty much the majority of what you'll see from them at the moment
