I'm starting to like the hybrid outsoles more and more. I just picked up some Dan Post hybrid outsoles with full leather insole, and they're actually pretty okay. All my other pair of boots are full leather outsoles, which is great and it's very traditional, but it's difficult finding people that's going to resole them locally anymore. So, it's a cool thing about the hybrids.

The skin looks fantastic and Ive always been drawn to Capybara but the AB square to is just to squared off for my tastes. Also I do believe for that price you should get a leather stacked heel. Thanks for the review

I just ordered some AB capybara boots in a narrow square toe. A little nervous about the sizing, the seller recommended a 10.5 after I told her my big toes were uncomfortable in my 10 Double H square toes. We'll see what happens in a couple days when they get here. Looking forward to your next video.

I am absolutely digging the color and texture of those. I just can't get into the shafts unfortunately. I do like the hybrid sole on them, that's a plus for sure.

Those look awesome, and such a unique hide. How is Anderson Bean on sizing, I wear a 10D in Dan Post, would it be accurate to go the same size with AB

If you want to wear them with the insole, I'd say yes. If you prefer to wear without the foam insole, size down a half size. Cheers buddy!

The Carybara leather has a good look, similar to you JC I'm not sure it would be the best on the West coast of Scotland. Though the hybrid sole would help, all in all they are a nice looking boot.

I love a solid colour boot because I’ve been wearing cowboy boots for so long that I am sick and tired of having a second try but like colour shaft and then different colour for the base blah blah blah I was like oh natural colour all the way through for the whole boat it’s just me and my boots for damn 40 years yikes

I’d like to see this leather in a different style boot. The square toe double stitch combo is just not appealing to me and would make it a deal breaker for me on that particular boot. I’d love to see more AB boots.

I can't recall whether they were more narrow than others I tried. This was a half size smaller than others since I took the insoles out

Anderson Bean charges too much for their boots.. they are simple basic and sometimes lacking.. I'd like to see more fit-and-finish detail for the price they charge
