fun fact about the thursday cowboy boot, is that in actuality it was done as a favor to one of their designers who was retiring and had been requesting thursday make a cowboy boot for years. i dont think it was a cash grab i think it was more of a misunderstanding of the target market
Hey J, love your 2023 review. I have found some wonderful boots secondhand. Thank you so much for putting that out there. I hope you guys can put together a video for women’s boots. I am still determined to find a high-quality boot that is extremely durable for barn work and riding. They are just doesn’t seem to be a lot of options out there for women, especially if you are looking for a high-quality boot with a spurs shelf. so far my favorites are double H, then secondly Tony Lama. Thanks again for always putting out such great videos wishing you a wonderful holiday.
I love your videos dude!! Love that you rep upstate NY too! Can you please try out the beatmaster rough stock boots! I just got a pair and I need someone else to try them too! They’re sooooo good! Traditionally made too!
As someone who owns a pair of Durango rebel boots with American flag I liked them a lot they are light weight comfortable I don’t use them for work so I can’t tell you how they hold up but for a boot to go out in for a night on the town I would recommend they are comfortable and lightweight which is what I like the most about them
Hey Jeremiah, another great video! In regards to the Twisted X boot insoles, may I make a suggestion? Next time you review a pair say lumpfort instead of comfort lol.
Great Video Jeremiah! The Lesser Known Boot Brands don't seem to have the Qaulity & fit compared to the Well Known brands,I do agree with you on the Last pair & Look forward to seeing more from this brand,How many more pairs have you Purchased or Acquired this year Jeremiah? Also you have some Great Second hand purchases again this year!!Keep up the Good Work & Continue Enjoying wearing them all,Not Enough Days in the year for you😊
That's odd on the Chiso's squeaking. I bought some #2's a couple years ago or more, wear the absolute crap out of them, no squeaks at all. My coworker got some #2's recently this year, no squeaks either. Anyways awesome vid JC !
Great revue. Interesting that Tecovas didn't make any lists. I live in a high-crime area now, so have to put my boots away for a while. I need to be able to fight and run, and can't do either in cowboy boots.
I knew what number 1 was going to be out of the gate. I might've ranked the Escambia boots a little higher, but that's probably because I love my Cervantes lol
Could you review a pair of captain boots please? I’ve seen them all over instagram the last couple of months and love the look of some but I haven’t seen any reviews on them
I have 3 pairs. They are good for the price. However, they are not true to size. I have boots from 12 different makers and I am and have been for over 40 years a size 10 D. With Capitan I have to drop a full size and if I want to wear them without the insole, as I prefer, I drop a full size and a half. 10 D on me look like clown boots, their that huge.
My rebels have lasted some pretty hard work over the years had them for 7 years now and they have held up great the fake leather is flaking away but overall it’s held up wonderfully for a 75 dollar pair of boots
I think we'll agree to disagree on the Thursdays as they fit me great and are wearing well a year later. I do understand your other gripes about them, especially sizing, especially since they still haven't offered width sizing. Perhaps this is what they're used to in their customer base as they don't seem to offer width's in any of their offerings.
Agreed. I suppose it could be argued it’s a lazy design, but really I think they played it safe. It is built really well, moreso than half of the others above it. I do understand the sizing issue. In terms of DTC, Tecovas square toe was easy fit to find after 1 exchange. Their chelsea was fine without needing to exchange, but their cartwright is now on its second exchange
I saw rose anvil channel review the Thursdays as actually half decent for theyre first try and for the price and comparing materials to others. And his reviews are very extensive, well thought out and executed. And of course boots always cut in half to check build quality and materials
@@k5blazernut485 who's wrong? on what? what basis are you making this argument? I own two pair of Thursdays with my first out getting a new set of top lifts...
you should try mexican brands thursday is one of the lowest quaality if you compare it with brands like el malcreado, chicho boots, indomables boots, all hand made
Question..I have been trying to find these Tony lama stamped b7449. There is a number 2 stamped in the boot also they are stamped made in the usa. I got them in an estate sale. I can not fimd any information on these boots. Would you anything about these boots? Thank you very much.
I don’t think the Durango brand is very good. Unfortunately, my feet don’t do well with any other brand. I’m guessing it’s a wide, flat last that is similar to being barefoot. I’ve worn a dozen other brands over more than 50 years and they all have been painful and even damaging to my feet. That’s after 8 years in the infantry. It’s not like I’m new to blisters, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, torn tendons, or walking off toenails. After the first 5000 miles or so, you’re going to know what works. Sometimes your feet won’t like what’s popular.
BNV boots absolutely suck! I sent Jose my measurements and told him what I wanted. I get the boots and they did not fit in the foot and the shafts were huge. (Even though I gave him all measurements) There was edge dressing smeared on the leather and the heels were not the same. VERY POOR QUALITY
Wow, this is the first time I hear a bad comment towards BNV. You should contact Jose and see about getting those issues corrected. If he does not make it right, let me know. I was planning on ordering a pair, but I won't if they don't stand behind their products.
