In 2005 JustPlanes visited LYNDEN AIR CARGO in Alaska and filmed the "Herc" on a dozen flights to 10 locations in Alaska. The 200 minute program includes a number of really cool things such as the aircraft performing an oil spill spray but the most exciting was certainly this encounter planned between the Herc and a company King Air near Valdez. It doesn't get any closer!

Boy what a storm in Boston today! Anyway today we also bring to our Download Store this really cool program for nearly 15 years ago... if you can live with it being old you will certainly enjoy some really great stuff on this program such as this arranged Air2Air meet up with the Hercules! Alaska is such a fantastic place for Aviation very different from every other State in this country... and the people are awesome too. Have a lovely weekend my friends!

That footage seems to be pretty close for civilian aircrafts. Is it normal over AK to fly that close? By the way, the video is awesome. Please, keep posting....

WHOA!!! That was closest to Hercules. If small plane hit the fan, it’ll be crash to mountain. It was so close to Hercules. Hercules loaded a ton of stuff inside of cargo. It’ll be wasteful of money if it’s failed. So, both planes were flying away from Alaska.
