+Blessed And Highly Favored Mall of America, Water park of America, watch a Vikings game, Guthrie Theater, Hiking, Roller Gardens, Snowboarding, Skiing, Sledding, etc. You don't know MN do you?
Best women's basketball I have ever watched. BTW, if the refs hadn't blown the 8 second call that cost LA in game 4, there wouldn't even have been a game 5.
Easily one of the 20 best basketball games I've ever seen. And I've been watching basketball for 30 years. The play by Nneka at the end is one of the best "stay with it" plays in WNBA history.
OK, STOP HATING. LA IS THE ONLY TEAM THIS YEAR THAT GAVE MINNESOTA PROBLEMS. GREAT BASKETBALL, LA RIGHTFULLY DESERVES THIS. THEIR EFFORT OUT LASTED THE LYNX. GO SPARKS!!
They didn't outlast shit. They got an illegitimate title that the league admitted to the next day. This year the lynx took back what was rightfully theirs because they are the better team
+Tim Da $corpio yeah I felt they had a chance to go all the way back in 2012 and especially 2013, but were edged out every time by either the Lynx or the Mercury. This year, ALL SPARKS! Not even the Olympics could derail them from their date with destiny!!! ;-D
AMAZING GAME, WOW!! Very happy for the Sparks. The Lynx came all the way back. 2 game winners basically in this same game, ridiculous 4th quarter!! Great game to both teams!
NOT CLOSE. LYNX WON THAT GAME BY 6. SO GIVE THE SPARKS 2 PTS. DO THE MATH. IN FINAL GAME SPARKS "WON" BY 1 PT. TAKE AWAY THE 2 PTS. THEY NEVER EARNED. DO THE MATH.
niceshark baby The refs gave the Lynx 2 extra points after the 8 second violation and ''foul'' on Candace stretching the lead to 4. The other 2 came from an intentional foul.
@@hvz_delta8678 you act like 55 million isn't allot compared to euro leagues and the g league 55 million doesn't sound bad, and the main reason why people might not care is because of sexism ppl assume watching girls play basketball would be boring
Prince Hill you stupid white knight of it isn’t boring how come there where only 10 dunkins in a 5 YEAR SPAM. In the nba there where about 40k dunks in a 5 year span WAY more entertaining then a fucking layup they miss half of the time. A high school leaf gets more points per game more rebounds per game and more assisit per game A HIGHSCHOOL TEAM
Pablo M yes she was the goat in game 1 played off Beard who made game winner game 5 didnt box out weak side allowing Neke the rebound for game winner and championship
Lmao ion even think there was a parade for the mystics in dc. More people cared about the nats and even the caps, I only know one person who watches hockey here
I come back to this moment every time I need a pick up. Best game I ever watched. So proud of the Sparks for their hustle and determination. We earned this win. Minnesota easily deserved the win too. Both teams gave it their all. It could have gone either way but I'm so glad it went ours for once.
Congratulations to the #LASPARKS on becoming 3 time WNBA champion in this 20th season. And btw #RIP Pat Summit Candace's late former college coach too!
I actually watched this game pretty entertaining. First championship won by one of my favorite teams I’ve seen since the 2010 when the Lakers won it all.
@@user-dw3oy4ov9z that’s overpricing it bud if I recall correctly WNBA teams give away tickets for free so front row seats should be around 30 dollars but only that high for a finals game
@@Godly-Beard how is this not real basketball because their women and they dont have the skillset that all the males have, doesn't make this sport any less important to basketball culture dont be a dick you make us men look bad
2016 is the greatest year for sports ever. One of the best CFB nattys ever, great story for Peyton in the SB, greatest College Basketball game ever, greatest game in NBA history, greatest world series in a long time, best WNBA finals ever. AND it was an Olympics year.
Because he said 'women's ball' which could mean either the literal basketball which is smaller than a men's ball of the wnba as a whole being smaller than the nba
It evens out. The sparks had a championship opportunity taken from them in Game 4, so something similar happened to the lynx in game 5. Either way. the league needs better officials. Glad my Sparks won!
What do you mean fixed? Have you seen the whole game? They didn't reset the shot clock. After Alana got the rebound. They only set it back to 14 where you supposed to set it back to 24. Congrats Sparks!!!
Damn. Finally won after some really tough seasons. Growing pains with changes of ownership and leadership. But they finally pulled it off. Good job LA. As far as the no call. That's part of the game the camps have been crowned. Better luck next year.
And the shot clock was wrong in the first place. If everyone actually paid attention, the shot clock went from 24 to 13 real quick. Instead of having a fresh 24 seconds for Sparks to get a shot off, they only got 13. Alana Beard got the rebound, and it should have reset to 24 seconds, but it went from 24 to 13. Shot clock official miss that as well. Overall, blame the ref, blame the rules.
New rule for this season: shot clock resets to 14 SECONDS if the team who shoots the ball and misses ends up getting the rebound. That said, I agree the shot clock official SCREWED UP by showing 24 seconds on that possession when it should've been 14. Threw the Sparks players off, too. Hate this new rule, btw. Hope they deep six it this offseason. Quiet as kept, this could've been one of the greatest championship series EVER if the officiating could've at least gotten the simple calls right, like Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve mentioned in last night's post-game interview. She wasn't just talking about this game either...
But at the end, each team still has 2-3 possessions after that miscue to win this game. LA made the last shot, so give it to them for hanging in there. On the road, winner take all game. Usually home team gets call in their favors, but this whole series, mostly the road teams get call in their favor.
ZachDaHater1 Both games were decided by one point and won by a two point shot with seconds left. Nneka Ogwumike previously made a shot that did not beat the shot clock buzzer but wasn't waived off. A basket by Ron Harper in game 6 of the 1998 Finals also shouldn't have counted for the same reason, and a three point shot by Howard Eisley in that same game was erroneously waived by a referee when replay refuted the mistake. So, a case could be made for both game 5 of the 2016 WNBA Finals was rigged like game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals.
