Great review Xmanny. Sorry to see the QC issues, and of all places too! This product is going to look great on your Spidey shelf. Cannot wait for your Renew Your Vows and watch your comparison between the two.
What I suggest is that take a fine tip marker , use little tape to make a guide for the line and using that tape you can fill that missing line ...if you have steady hands you can do it free hand too ...I'm glad since I'm an artist I can correct such flaws with some effort..but yeah it's a bummer
This Spider-Man head sculpt looks AMAZING!! (No pun intended) I agree on the squinty eyes gives it the old comic book and animated feel. It’s a crime to have a figure like this with some QC issues.
While I'm not a fan of the windowless packaging, it's not like these figures are plentiful in stores anymore. I tend to have to go online to get my MLs because Target and Walmart carry little to nothing. I'm amazed I actually found the Iron Spider in Target last week, but they only had one left to begin with, so having an option for paint apps wouldn't have been a factor in this case anyway.
You know, For 60 years old, Spider-Man will always be awesome, fun, fantastic and since it is his birthday, He will be celebrated with the 80s and 90s Spider-Man cartoons along with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films from 2002 to 2007 and Marc Webb Spider-Man films from 2012 and 2014 which to me is a little sad for Andrew Garfield and John Watts Spider-Man films from 2017 through 2021.
This spider man figure actually shows you that you don't need pull down legs necessarily to have good leg possibilities. It does a much wider leg split then the retro Spidey making the torso articulations. Good. Inn ways when you crouch the body. By my observation . It's a different body mold . That's what it is. So I get it. The only grip I have with the figure is not big but it's the holes under it's arms for his webs that goes attached. Too it. . that won't stay . that's a bummer. I would just forget the the webs that goes under his arm pit and cover it. Or make something that I can tie around his arms. That looks more webbie for the web affects .then what you get with the figure. But it's okay not that bad. Of a figure. Though. . Nice review 👍🏻
Yoooooooo, you’ve been more critical than Anthony’s Customs lately and I’m here for it! Hasbozo have been getting too many breaks lately - though they have put out some bangers like Lizard and this guy. JustJHernandez died a hero and you’ve lived long enough to become the villain muahhahahahaha❤
I've been taking him everywhere...my new fidget spinner ha ha Legends team did a solid job with this release. The QC is just unacceptable especially since it out of the consumers hands as to what they're getting.
i really like this figure too!! hes super cool i like being able to put the spider-sense head on there. i want to put the glasses peter head on there.. the tom holland ones fit really well too
This Spider-Man figure is almost perfect. I have been wanting a Spidey with webwings for a few years now (since I got into ML thanks to the Pizza Spidey) and now it's hapened. Now they just need to repaint this figure in the Romita Sr/Andru colors with the proper spider emblem on the chest and he will be perfect. Of course, they also have to give that version the exact same hands. As for the web accessory, sure, it isn't perfect, but I'll take it over having nothing at all. It looks better than my clear twist ties from NECA figures twisted around each other. I do wish it was bendable, however. Thanks for sharing the original promo images because I knew he was supposed to include two of them, but when mine only came with one, I thought I must have mistook the two as coming with the Toei version. When I looked at that one though the other day, he was only pictured with one, so I was completely confused. It would have been nice if they had stuck to him coming with two copies so I could have had one shooting off the thwipping hand while he holds the other in his other hand as he is swinging through the air. Oh well. I ended up with two copies of this Spidey anyway, so I do have two of those webs.
Marvel legends Spider-Man and his amazing friends 3 pack will be available on eBay and I can’t wait to get marvel legends The amazing Fantasy Spider-Man
Really bummed that I'm canceling my pre-order. Looks like a great figure and I'm hyped to see this body on other smaller guys (modern Iceman would look nice on this buck)
I also canceled my pre order. Kinda regretting it seeing how much praise it’s getting, maybe if I sell some other spideys or find this guy on clearance since most retailers are getting him
Great review my dude! But I'm still surprised no one has noticed the spider on the back of this figure is slightly raised/sculpted!! And this buck is also being used on the 90's animated series Spider-Man figure.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork do you have the figure yet homie? I do and it’s more than printed. I can slide my fingers over it and it’s a raised surface.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork That's all I've been trying convey to the naysayers out there that've said it's just printed... without actually having the figure.
All I want to know is if the web grabbing hands work with the renew your vows 2 pack Spidey. That would make it even better cause then I can have him posed with wire web lines that actually look like he’s holding them.
Also, I won't be getting the Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends 3 pack even though those 3 figures look cool to me, But I will get this OG classic First Appearance Amazing Spider-Man figure to go in my Into the Spider-verse display because Spidey is definitely amazing.
I love this figure. The crotch on this thing is great! If they made the red and blue a regular release, I'd be down to get a 2nd one so I can bring it to random places. For $28 this feels like Hasbro getting as close to import style as they're allowed to make. Same goes with the with Renew Spidey.
I mean technically they are releasing a red and blue one. There’s a three pack of Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends with this figured but he’s painted in the red and blue color scheme. It’s on Hasbro Pulse right now
Playing around with this figure tonite. It ranks very high. I need more time with it. The Cob webbing should have been tighter as it’s seen in Amazing Fantasy 15. Yeah I don’t get that Spider-Man can’t do the horizontal splits. I do enjoy the figure still.
15:06 That's the mean reason why I wanted to get this two to simply make my own scene of everything spider man saves a woman like gwen just like the 2002 bridge rescue scene if you know what I mean?
@@Xmanny87 yea like toybiz movie spidey or Campbell/McFarlane spidey but textured instead of printed in like the tasm-2 fig. Would b dope af and I was thinkin last night would b cool for blind people who happen 2 love Spider-Man. They can FEEL the webs and since the lens are forever going to sculpted. It would b awesome ⚡️💧📈
