Never seen before machine for processing your concentrates. Does it differently than a shaker table, and fast, but for a lot less money. It removes the magnetic materials from your cons, separates most of the gold, and makes the rest of the cleanup a breeze. Save a ton of time in the gold room, use for beach sands, think about how a modified version could remove the magnetite from the top of your sluice runs. Price is $2,150 Canadian ($1,800. USD includes shipping) For more information, visit www.placertools.com - email allan@placertools.com. Subscribe to / 911mining to see a future product review.

Pardon me for noticing that if you still have to pan concentrates after going thru this separator, it's really not a separator...
@placertools3529
@placertools3529 Год назад
If it separates the magnetics from the concentrates, does that not make it a separator??? That is it's primary function. The fact that the gold trap under the first drum catches most of the gold is fortunate for me, but that is a secondary function.

Hey Al , my name is Al as well. Lol! I would love to show you, or explain the magnitite extractor I have engineered and works magnificent. You will crap yourself when you see how 100 percent of Magnatites are removed from cons, leaving all the free gold behind. Without the BS Cleanups are a he'll of alot easier. I deal with ultra fine gold and extremely high Bs content. Removing the specific gravity closest to gold has made a astonishing difference. @davevan1928
@davevan1928 Год назад
Nice build sir . I have a few observations though. The basic most important tool for anyone who prospects or mines is the pan. To this day I have yet to see anything replace the pan. There are countless mat configurations and all they do is reduce the amount of concentration you have at the end of the day. Bottom line is how much $ do you wanna spend for that ? Then you have the $40,000.00 shaker table you still need a pan because that table does not any clean gold. So in my opinion that a huge waste of $ . So somewhere between expensive mats and a shaker table is your piece of equipment. Your demo did not show any clean gold , not even after you panned it. Is it possible you can show me (us ) where this product is advantageous for us and where it will make or save us $ in the field ? After all it it and has been proven there is nothing as of yet that will get 100% of the gold that that was originally on your shovel.
@placertools3529
@placertools3529 Год назад
I think you missed the objective of this machine. I designed it to be used in a cleanup room rather than in the field. You have to think of it as a magnetic black sand harvester rather than for collecting gold, which was secondary for me. The high rate of gold capture by the gold trap under the drums turned out to be a bonus. There was a small amount of gold used in the video and none of it showed up in the end testing of the black sands, which was the objective. As an example, my latest customers are using my machine to process large piles of saved black sands, which is normally very time consuming. If they capture 1 ounce of gold from it, my machine is basically paid for. Check out my Best Dammed Gold Pan as tested against a Garrett pan. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-98T3U16Jq9E.html&ab_channel=911MINING%28CLIPS%29

Remember that the primary function of my machine is to remove the heavy magnetics from your concentrates, which can make the rest of your cleanup way more efficient. The gold trap seems to catch about 95% of the gold, including very fine (barely visible) gold. The concentrates should then be processed either once more through my machine, or with a cleanup sluice. If your black sands are primarily magnetite, you can imagine how this can save you time and lost gold once that is removed.

Hm... I'm wondering. Does this machine just remove the magnetic stuff? Because when the catch basin is full, gold would go over into the water tank, right? Or is the basin agitated so that it could sink in? It would be interesting to pan some residue in the water tank.
@placertools3529
@placertools3529 10 месяцев назад
It primarily removes the magnetics. The spillway section under the drums will catch roughly 95% of the gold in the single drop riffle and should hold perhaps 1/4 to 1/2 oz of gold before loosing much into the catch basin. That easily removable spillway section should be rinsed into a separate bucket of water periodically. The material that flows into a catch basin has a lot less heavies now and can be panned, or run through a cleanup sluice easier. If you find that gold is moving from the catch basin into the main water tank, you could experiment with the catch basin size. A smaller, or shallower catch tray may work better at collecting gold if a waterfall condition is achieved, which will keep the gold in the residue moving and settling, while the lighter material will spill over into the main tote/water tank. A surfactant is recommended in order to prevent fine gold from floating. Maybe I will do a video on experimenting with different configurations of catch basins. Make sure that you have subscribed to see future videos.

It works OK, would recommend making a stainless steel slide, also would recommend changing the gates to polypropylene or polycarbonate. Also use an electromagnet for the separation. Gold and AuTe both would get kicked away, magnetite would be attracted, neutral stuff like garnet and sand will go through with no effects. ❤
@placertools3529

I thought quite a bit about electromagnets, but it would be a logistical nightmare with wiring feeding to a stationary drum that is inside a sealed rotating drum and in a constantly wet environment,

That works but doesn't work I mean, it works on fine materials from gold mines but doesn't work on rich black sand, gold goes with the black sand yet still can be processed anyway because it has black sand separator that can get the bigger gold while the fine will remain on the concentrator.
@placertools3529
@placertools3529 2 года назад
Not sure what you are saying, John. The only gold that will get by this machine is gold that is embedded in the magnetite or ironstone. If the pieces are heavy, the magnets will have a harder time picking them up and attaching to the drums. (c:}

@placertools3529
@placertools3529 3 месяца назад
That is the intended function. Prospectors and miners can spend many hours trying to recover gold from concentrates. Once the magnetics are removed the cleanup process is much easier. As a bonus, the gold trap also collects about 95% of the gold. The discarded concentrates can then be run quickly through a cleanup sluice.
