It's a replica of guitars made in America and Europe in the 1900s. I really like its deep tone. I'll post more when I have more in my repertoire, so please have a listen.

There are versions that also have higher register strings put on the other side of the fingerboard, opposite the bass strings. Look up “harp guitar” and see examples. As pointed out, harp guitars were popular a little over a century ago. There is renewed interest in the instrument.
