So about the word sundry: "SUN-dree" means everybody, collectively, in a non-specific way. "All and sundry" is an old expression for something that includes a whole mess of people, not too many excluded. "Sundries," plural, is a word for random, little necessary items. The old concept of "five and dime" stores could be said to have sold "sundries." I assume if a company labels their clothing "Sundry" they're promoting an image of simple basics that would appeal to a lot of folks in a homey way. Or they're based in the desert, and it's really "sun-DRY," and I'm full of nonsense . . . ymmv.
