Having owned and used a similar set of glasses (Xreal Air's) for about 3 months, AR glasses will change the way you consume content. There is no better feeling than blowing up your movie or game on a giant display that can then slip into your work bag. Truly next level. I've been interested in seeing what some of the competition was like in the AR Glasses space, you answered pretty much every question I had about the Rokids. I've been looking at AR Glasses for a while now, but I wear -5.75 prescription glasses. I could get lenses on others, but the feature to adjust on the fly is a game changer!

That's a good distinction! That's kind of how these are marketed, but you're right. That being said, I do genuinely like them, as does my Dad! I do know that Rokid have True AR Glasses similar to the Apple Pro Glasses coming out early next year as well.

Are these better than the Nreal air? Those gave me headaches and the screen felt too small and also looked kinda blurry

I have not tried the NReal's, honestly! These were suprisingly crisp. I would play book 4k video reviews, some including my own, and was suprised by how good it looked!

I have a pair and they’re all but useless for my intended use. I wanted to use them on a plane and since the sound only comes out of the glasses speakers, they’re useless. Picture quality is great.

They can’t change the appearance of the game it’s still going to be the exact same like if you where playing on the game without it just the only difference is it’s right in your face anywhere you move

Its a solo tv. The technology is novel but its purpose is largely redundant. Like a phone can be used for netflix, Work is best on clam shell as you can save thing be more secure about it.
