I have watched this over and over... and I just can't get over the precision of the kites and their handler! Beautiful, materful, and very entertaining. How on Earth did the kids not reach out for a touch? I would not be able to resist!!
Great fyling. Newcomers to stunt kiting....these are Revolution (i.e. 4 line kites) stacked together so that all are flown by one person holding a "handle" in each hand with lines attached to the top and bottom, i.e. 4 lines going out to the kites. Then the kites are attached. Other controllable kites you see are "two lines", i.e one line in each hand. Happy flying.
That's just supernatural. I heard great things about the revs, so I went out and bought the Supersonic. lol. It was crazy. I could not even get it off the ground. A year later I gave it away. Wish I'd kept it now. You have to be of a certain mind set to fly 'em I think.
For anyone who is interested, that stack is: -the original Rev 1 size, 9' leading edge -started out as white 3/4 oz ripstop nylon -was washed in vinegar to remove the coating -was then hand painted using the house brand silk paint from G&S Dyes in Toronto -framing is stock 4 wrap Rev rods for the Rev 1 -fly lines, bridle, and train lines are 200lb spectra
