100%. On Marvel and other franchises it was so crazy when people connected to films and show proudly say ‘I’ve not read the source material, this is our own take’. Like…you’re working on an existing and beloved IP, not making your own. It’s honestly arrogant

Hopefully the boon of an R rated Deadpool and Wolverine gives Marvel Studios confidence in more R rated projects. Blade, and maybe even Ghost Rider and Midnight Suns could be great additions to that R rated Marvel. GR may be fine as a PG13 film but for sure Blade and Midnight Suns being R rated is a huge opportunity.
Them finally deciding to do rated r projects, is honestly a big step since still their overall audience are adults as we used to be in our teens in 2011 to 2014 and so on until 2020, as they used to be so afraid to enter that territory.
@markerzuahsiam335 it's not people being obsessed with rated r movies, it's rather the rating of rated r overall people want to see in the mcu since it has the potential to and, now their finally doing that potential.
@markerzuahsiam335 well marvel has characters they watered down in the mcu who are orginally hardcore in the comics, like moon knight, ghost rider in agents of shield, however Gabriel luna's performance as him made up for that, and I don't remember if the werewolf by night special was watered down. Anyway with them finally deciding to rated r, these characters as well as others like them can be used at their full potential finally, if Disney don't mess things up again possibly since you never know what could happen.
You definitely don't have to kill original characters off just because they aren't main characters in the series, they can go off and do other things, with the option to come back when they serve the storyline.
If they are now hiring the right people, then let’s get a proper director for Thor 5 that can make it like the comics, because if it’s anything like the Thor comics, it’ll be good.
And Armor Wars. I personally think that whatever they have planned to announce should be worked on, and not worry about public demand so much after that.

As a big Marvel Fan I'm really glad that they honestly realised that the MCU was sidetracked for past few years and are putting genuine efforts to get it back to the right path again. Hoping it will pay off. Staying loyal as always. Woof Woof.❤
@@seanjustin2082you don’t care about the Hulk because the MCU have ruined the strongest avenger, the comics have good storylines that would make a good movie the fact is they don’t understand the character, I’ve never felt like Bruce banner was a tragic character in the MCU suffering with split personality but that is his character and they can’t even get it right.
Reminds me of what’s wrong with Star Wars. Hiring people that don’t care about the story or the characters to lead the projects. Glad Marvel is now doing the opposite. Great video!
It is a good thing that they go back and use references to the Netflix shows and that hose are cannon. I also hope that hey make clear how Daredevil and all the other characters fit into the MCU now so this does not feel as a separate thing
Looking forward to more comic book based (and accurate) movies and series. FF was my very first Marvel Comic series in the late 70’s and from there I expanded to include Spiderman , the XMen and so on from there. These three franchises remain in my top 5 favorites ever!
Genuinely looking forward to superman by James gunn, I saw a post that the movie has been completed and minimal reshoots have been made, there's still a year before release, so what will he do, work on other projects or do more work to make superman better for the fans. Who knows but what a great start

I’m very hyped for next you I have decent hopes for Cap 4 and Thunderbolts and am really excited for Fantastic Four and Daredevil anything else that may release next year like Iron Heart is just extra content for me

Deadpool in the MCU would flock people to see thunderbolts if he has a bond to the Stark tower and those folks would fight Deadpool before blasted by Bob.
I would disagree with it. The comics can be a source but most of the stories do not have the depth of character needed for a movie. You cannot be a slave to the material and ignore good stories just because they don't come from the comics. WandaVision had very little to do with the comics. It was great. It essentially took a story about grief and added a fantasy element. The person grieving just happens to be someone4 who can alter r4eality. The character that has the most interesting story arc is Wanda yet they are doing nothing with her.
They're on record saying that they want to direct a wolverine film, when asked which marvel fox owned character they'd like to direct. That would be amazing if they get to do that. The fight scenes and action sequences for an r rated russo bro wolverine film, would be amazing. So much of marvels most iconic moments that they would get to play with like hulk vs wolverine, enemy of the state, vs sabertooth, japan saga, weapon x saga...
After Secret Wars they should reboot Captain America , Iron Man , Hulk , Captain Marvel , and just go in with the X-Men, Fantastic Four , and new versions of Wolverine/ Deadpool/ Team X separately. It would work .
I hope they do change there style. Especially after deadpool 3. I'm a dc fan first, that'll be my first love always however I still do like and watch marvel. Hopefully going forward they remember from the success from deadpool and wolverine what makes a great movie, or to at least start with that and try to make them better from it. I do gotta say if avengers doomsday and secret wars are better movies all around then endgame and infinity war then marvel may be back and there may be faith. Favorite Hero: Batman

@@ibrahimramzaan that isn't a rumor. There was a post online stating they regained those rights. A Hulk project is in the mix. When? They definitely haven't given it away. There are some in the know, that have said that it could happen before Secret Wars or after the soft reboot. That way, they could tell the story accurately and include all the players from that storyline. This isn't like TASM3. SONY asked Marvel for help and instead of letting SONY do it, they allowed Marvel to completely redo the entire Spider-Man franchise. These two things aren't even remotely close to being the same

On the bright side, if you are still willing to watch the movies, the bar has been set low, considering there's a comparison to the expectation of avengers endgame, what I feel is there is a unique opportunity to start to impress us, being the audience, again. Since we have been let down by the writing and the direction. If marvel are doing better with writers and directors, I'm open to being impressed again

In four years we’ve gotten Loki, Moon Knight, Spider-Man no way home, and Wolverine X Deadpool. Everything else has been rushed, poorly written/directed, produced with Disney S*** CGI… what the efff happened?

there was more blood in Xmen Apocalypse when Jean let Wolverine out his box and he used his claws on the Alkali lake base troops they showed blood splattering on the walls and them mopping up the blood in the end credits scene, i didn't see any blood in Deadpool and wolverine, he fought with some bones in the beginning but when Wolverine stabbed Deadpool he did it in Wades chest so we never saw any blood
It’s hard to believe that marvel was really ok with everything that came out and thought the audience wouldn’t call bullshit. One of their dumbest mistakes was not requiring the people they hired for their shows to watch the prior projects that connect them. There is no excuse.
Obviously it's super good when a director is actually a fan of the source material. I think though even if they have'nt read the comic's the key is that their going to be respectful to those charachters as well as be willing to listen. So say we get a director who's not familar with the spiderman comics for example but really wants to do the movie anyway, I think that can still work so long as they are willing to take in the opinions of those who know what their talking about. Though obviously Marvel would want someone who knows Spiderman pretty well on their own. And I think it should be a requisite for them to communicate with the other directors about who's doing what so they can properly connect everything seemlessly.

It's not that they listen to fan or care. They listened to the money. Something they lost a ton of. Marvel saying we listened to fans, and we care, that's just good press and PR. It's money, it's always been about the money, and it always will be about the money.
Well yeah it seems obvious to have people who are fans of said characters and comic books to work on a comic book related project. Said can be for anything nerdy. If someone doesn't care about the project, don't bother using them.
