AMAZING NEW STEAM DECK BATOCERA IMAGE w/ OVER 5,500 Games

I was surprised that you are the one being referred to by Arcade Punks as the Retro Gaming Don :D I've been watching your videos here on RU-vid since I got my steam deck a couple of days ago. I'm a newbie and been downloading this build now. I will be following your Batocera installation video in a little while :) Thank you for this.

Excellent layout on this image. Batocera is so good to add extra games in yourself, as I needed some Amiga fun. Just need a bigger hard drive it seems. PS2 so far hs been a real joy to run

I am planning on buying a steam deck soon since emulation looks so awesome and you can even run different os'ses. If docked is it possible to connect two ps4 controllers en download a controller buttonconfig somehow to avoid doing it manually ? And does it have any 4k upscale possibilities through the dock ?

I love that this doesnt modify the Steam OS. my only question, can the same device be used when in steamOS to save cames from their software or would you need to save locally to the deck itself?

For those of you that bought a different sd card than the author’s. Use pishrink default settings to decrease the image size to fit on practically any 512gb sd. If you use windows just make sure you have wsl 2.0.

Wich 512 MicroSD has been tested?? In Arcadepunks they mention it doesnt fit into a Sandisk... Just had the same problem with the 256Gb image!!! : (

Hey! Thanks in advance for all the work put in here. I´d like to ask you for help; After downloading the image from arcadepunks and create the image I tried flashing 3 times using win32diskimager, rufus and balena (with and without previous SDcardformatter) and when I boot from the microSD with the deck it just boots batocera but shows no games; I check the partitions on the disk and it seems the partition SHARE doesn´t appear at all or I can´t access it from the Deck; any help would be appreciate it. Thanks in advance

I think i got this thing working - couple of questions. In steam deck desktop mode it says there are 25.6gb free. Is that accurate? Is all that free space just for the end user to add more? If so at what point should I stop? How come no loves Ms. Pac-Man (speed hack) as much as me? It's always the first game I try on name and was shocked it wasn't there. Thank you for what looks like an insane amount of work!

i´d like to ask the pro´s here, is there a possibility to install batocera on a sd card and the roms on an external usb drive? reason for that is, my roms need a lot of space and large sd cards are very expensive
