I promise you...Now I am going from car sales into RECON because I love it.....So, your video gives me an idea of how and what I need to LEARN! You are not going to learn your craft from a video as you say. BUT YOUR HELPING more than anyone has so far. Thanks man!! SO SO MUCH! I am in Alabama...WISH ME LUCK ALL. thanks for your comment Adam i will definitely take that to heart. You are right there needs to be some sort of structure in a "series " start to finish on dents. Unfortunately I encounter different dents every day, so i will add a tool and use of tool video soon. Thanks so much for your input i will continue to make these better.

Thank you for making these videos. I am just trying to make my car like it was before the hail came and did a 5 grand number on my 15 year old bmw 7 series. I can probably cut a lot of the cost out by doing alot the prep work myself. Removing and installation of Interior panels, bumper covers, fenders. Etc. Should find out soon from insurance what they plan to do. Might have to figure out some of this on my own and my confidence is growing thanks to you. Thank you for these videos and taking the time to explain why you are doing it a certain way and how the tools are used as well. I am paying attention. Subscribed.

I know each person has their own technique, I was just wondering why you chose not to heat the deck up first? Like I said, I can't say it is a bad thing not to or a great thing to do it, I just want to know your choice as to why you did not or don't do it. I agree, if there are enough cars, no dent guy will ever go hungry, look how many Starbucks there are? In my town they are closer together than McDonalds and they all still make money.

It would be great to see what tools do we need to buy to do this. Maybe practice with a hail damage hood. Walk us through this. What are good starter tools and affordable prices. There are a bunch of tools and this guy at work usually uses maybe 5 of those tools bunch has bunch those picker. So really give a few tools to start with little dings.
@Petersondent
@Petersondent 7 лет назад
+Slackerz Sincity thanks for the comment. To properly enter the world of paintless dent repair in a professional fashion you will need a complete set of tools. A complete set of tools usually runs you $2,500 to $3,000. There are smaller sets and there are sets of separate primary tools, but it is always nice to have a different variety of tips and links to get into different areas. I will be making more videos that expose where these tools and techniques are used.

It’s about helping other people, but when other people try and tell you all of the mistakes you are making, you get offended. You need more advanced training, all of these videos talk about getting dents outs and I have yet seen you get one more than about 75% finished. Trying to beat crowns down to start the dent repair isn’t smart. The crown is from the pressure of the impact and you are aren’t reliving any pressure before trying to move the metal back. That’s tip#1.
