Fat is a very good insulator. they even sayed that we can run on lava a few or several steps depending how fast you walk or run. After that fat melts and you get burned.

Hola a todos yo e vistos muchos videos como estos que son gente humilde y emprendedora,peeroo!!! es increíble la poca y nada de seguridad en esos lugares sin lentes de seguridad,zapatos y un largo etc...me imagino que el jefe echadito en su sillón de gerente y no se preocupa por ninguno de sus empleados y es un trabajo muy pero muy peligroso ..y es mejor no jugar con fuego porque te puedes quemar ...un saludo

интересно было бы посмотреть, как эта арматура проходила бы советские ГОСТы по твёрдости, диаметру, кривизне стержней. Не говоря ни слова о технике безопасности и охране труда само собой.

Reckon the British left that plant behind as obsolete when they pulled out in the 1940s. Dangerous, unproductive heap of junk. I've worked on 70-ton arc furnaces doing the same process as this - we were cranking out 70 tons of steel every 35 minutes with a ladle steel making furnace the caster was running 5 strands of 150mm x 150mm billet continuously. The Indians seem to think it's a matter of pride to use ancient equipment with inefficient processes whereas in reality all they are doing is exploiting a massive labour pool.

Nah - it's for concrete reinforcing. I doubt that plant tests for chemical composition or physical properties so it might be a gamble whether the buildings which use this rebar are any good.
