We’re excited to show you how to make a super simple and delicious asparagus stir-fry. This quick and easy recipe uses just a few ingredients, making it perfect for a healthy meal in minutes.
Ingredients
⦁ 250g/ ½ pound asparagus (ends trimmed and peeled, cut into 2-inch)
⦁ 1 small carrot, julienned
⦁ 2 cloves garlic, minced
⦁ 1 tablespoon sake/Shaoxing wine
⦁ 1 tablespoons vegetarian oyster sauce (or oyster sauce or GF oyster sauce if you have dietary restrictions)
⦁ 1 teaspoon sesame oil
⦁ 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (or any neutral oil)
⦁ Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Ingredientes (European Portuguese)
⦁ 250g/ ½ libra de espargos (extremidades aparadas e descascadas, cortadas em 2 polegadas)
⦁ 1 cenoura pequena, cortada em juliana
⦁ 2 dentes de alho, picados
⦁ 1 colher de sopa de saquê/vinho Shaoxing
⦁ 1 colher de sopa de molho de ostra vegetariano (ou molho de ostra ou molho de ostra GF se você tiver restrições alimentares)
⦁ 1 colher de chá de óleo de sésamo
⦁ 1 colher de sopa de óleo vegetal (ou qualquer óleo neutro)
⦁ Sementes de gergelim para enfeitar (opcional)
Notes:
Sauce option - For those who enjoy non-vegetarian flavours, you can enhance your dish with oyster sauce or fish sauce. These sauces add a rich, savoury depth that complements a variety of dishes.
Black sesame seeds - Try using toasted black sesame seeds because it adds a delightful fragrance and nutty flavour to your dishes. To toast black sesame seeds at home, place a quarter cup of seeds onto your dry frying pan over medium heat. Keep stirring the seeds to ensure they toast evenly and prevent burning. Once the seeds emit a nutty aroma after 3 to 5 minutes, immediately remove them from the heat and transfer them to a plate to cool.
