I’m a house painter and hate running into silicone. Figured it out years ago what works for us. I’m interested in how you cover it. 👍🏻 denatured alcohol works wonders on markers
2 year old ink in carpet from a dog thinking a pen was a chew toy. I tried getting it out two years ago, but it just smeared it, nothing worked...until this. It took about 5-6 times and my mini Bissel and I let is sit for 10 minutes...the dabbing didnt get it all out. Now the highlight marking, didn't work as well, but still got it much duller.

Love all the comments about what the special mix is, just look in the description of the video, but those who struggle to do the simplest of things.. 99% rubbing alcohol and lacquer thinner. Read the description for the ratios.. I cant do everything for you... love the videos. About 20 years ago I was able to paint some silicone caulk on my truck, dad made up some concoction that the paint stuck to it, just like it was latex. He passed away a few years back, so I'll be curious to see what your special mix of herbs and spices is. Have a great new year. Chad from Buffalo NY
Thank you for sharing Chad! We truly appreciate all of our great subscribers like you, it makes all we do worth it my friend. Happy New Year to you. mad Mike the hammer SPC
I had a rental car. Someone backed into and-scratched my back up and brake lenses. I tryd to use the mother’s aluminum paste and a mguirers drill attachment to buffet out but it didn’t do squat to it. What am I doing wrong ? The scratches are not that deep but just enough to notice. Someone said I need a higher speed buffing machine and not the drill as it’s too slow and does not Build up enough heat ? Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and effort. I’m sure these videos require a lot of time and energy...
You need to follow the video to a T, and use the exact same tools/products we use. Not sure where in the video we used a hand drill? All of the items used are in the SHOW MORE of the videos description, if you can't find it, let us know and we will help get you pointed in the right direction. Thanks for asking and watching. Thanks Mike for sharing, great tips as always brother. Do you have a secret for removing wax from carpet? I have used a clothes iron and white painter rags, it gets most of it out, red wax still leaves a light stain.
Tony, give this a try, you may be pleasantly surprised. Thank you my friend for being here with us, you are a great subscriber. Have a fantastic day. mad Mike the hammer SPC
I've done wax removal from house carpet professionally for 30 years. For best results & no damage to fibers, you should only remove wax this way: 1. 32oz cup of hot tap water 2. Clothes iron 3. Wet (almost dripping) WHITE cotton towel 4. Wet-vac... With iron hot & set on high, pour water on wax area until soaked, cover with towel & iron, let it cook for about 20 seconds. Then, with wet-vac running & ready, lift towel & iron & suck out emulsified water/wax using just the round end of the wet-vac hose, push down & go in several directions to pull out all the water that you can. Depending on the mass of wax, you'll have to repeat this (using a new section of the wet towel, as some wax will transfer into towel) several times until all wax has been extracted. If you have a hot water extraction rig handy, this process is very fast & very complete with zero fiber damage. You must use enough hot water to emulsify the wax, you want to pull 99% of the wax into the wet-vac with water extraction. Use fan on area to speed drying. Red/colored wax will usually leave a tint/stain in the fiber, necessitating a second procedure and possibly a little spot dyeing.
You can use whatever you want to use, we are just sharing what 40 years experience of trying and testing has given great results everytime. Thanks. mad Mike the hammer SPC
Hi, maybe you guys could make a video about flushing the coolant system. I know over time there are a lot of silicate deposits. I just got a busted up thermostat even though I keep my coolant clean, even installed a filter with foam and a magnet in the return line which is full of crap every 2 weeks. I was thinking maybe something like vinegar could work because it removes mineral stains in the bathroom and also derusts parts (if afterwards neutralized with baking soda), but not sure what it does for silicates. Edit: maybe lime scale remover is better
We will add that suggestion to our video production list my friend! Thanks for your comment and for being here with us! Happy New Year. mad Mike the hammer SPC

hmmmmm ....interesting as well .... it's "something" that "eats" or ... "dissolves" and nail polish remover (and paint thinner) does that AND evaporates quick... ;)
