My favorite Zack Snyder movie. The story and characters were just so good. Credit to the graphical novel, but also to Snyder to adapting it to life.

Watchmen (Director’s Cut) is not only my favorite Zack Snyder movie, but it’s also one of my favorite movies of all time. The story, characters, and of course the cinematography, creates an overall absolute masterpiece. Thank you Zack!

What are the watchmen called

I personally think this movie came out 10 years too early.

i liked the visuals of this movie, but besides that, all the people calling the film anywhere from good to ‘a masterpiece’ are people who have never read the real thing. as a person who has, literally on the same day, I can say that this movie is nothing in comparison; nothing this movie does is better than jt was done in the comic book, in fact everything, from the plot, to the characters, to the innovative storytelling is far inferior. needless to say, snyder clearly missed quite a few nails, completely ruining things like: the character of Doctor Malcolm, the use of blood and bleeding, the final plot twist (and thus, the story building up to it, or rather the mere attempt of a build up that we got), etc. the graphic novels is one of the greatest achievements in literature and truly a Comic Book Bible; the movie is nothing short of mediocre and lazy. As Alan Moore himself said, nothing came close to truly ever adapting his work.
