And India should not have Swedish weapons, that is because their friendship with Russia. So for the best for Swedish People is not sales to such countries
I havent heard anything about Gripen tests for India. and i dont know of any fighter aircraft that got problems with flying in any weather or cold due to that most fighters can fly up to 20000 meters and it can get below 70 degrees celcius up there.
Its just like a car, when its running its ok in low temperatures but there may be a challenge to start it and its system up when really cold. During the India campaign Gripen and all its competitors needed to show that they could operate from the Leh airbase at 3200m altitude, high altitudes combined with low temperatures is challenging
@@matshjalmarsson3008 The Gripen was made from original design (A/B model) to be an all-weather multirole fighter. Hence why it is very rare, unlike most other fighters, for the Gripen to cancel a mission due to poor weather.
Cold weather testing is mainly to ensure that its possible to start the aircraft and its systems up even at low temperatures while still meeting requirements on start up times etc.
