Well never collapsed for next 100 years....In coastal Karnataka this is the traditional techniqe of building the wall of well without using cement by taperely dressed laterite stones
Wall will not collapse, because there is a concrete bed beneath it. No cement is used in the wall because , this wall becomes foundation later and water need to enter well through small gaps
