I just got the same one looked the same like it had a leak but i turned it on just to check if ot works and the valves closed all the way. Seems for me the problem was they dont come closed all the way. But for sur no leak on mine. You should of just turned it on and close it
That's going to be an exhaust leak. Dude you're using a cut out... The valve needs to move...... Obviously if it's to damn right any carbon will make it stick... Also doing a cut out who the fuck cares about the sound of a leak, you're just making a massive ass leak on purpose.
@@Wrenchingwithray just bought a “Spelab” brand 3 inch cutout and it has no gaps and no light passes through the seal. The flap has a beveled edge. I’ve heard people say theirs doesn’t close under load but this motor seems very strong I can’t imagine it having an issue closing unless I was really on the gas. and worst case and I’ll just close it while in neutral.
Bought it, money worked great. Had it on for 3 months and now yesterday it wont open. I can hear the relay when i hit the button. So i took the motor off and the valves move freely and the gears arent broken. But when i hit close the motor spins. When i hit open it does nothing then i hit close again and it spins to close again even though it never moved. Wtf
Thanks for the review, the ones I’m ordering is the dual to go around the mufflers to just bypass them when needed.. wondering now if the air gaps will effect the sound now.. thinking about them now,,Thanks for sharing this with us
With the negative pressure or whatever it's called, wouldn't the gasses flow with the rest? As the valve is deep in the exhaust system, any escaping in that gap would be very quiet as it still has to travel down the pipe which would be connected to it? Unless you just whacked it on as is.. but then you'd get fumes seeping into the cabin ending an exhaust under the car body. I'm just guessing as I don't know much about this
@@Wrenchingwithrayhow bad would it be? I was looking at the exact same thing on Amazon, figured I should look up reviews on RU-vid and this the first video I find.
