Love that they have resolved the issues. I paid the price to be an early adopter for sure. I hope they kept Astro around, we definitely enjoyed having him around.
Great review, my Astro is arriving tomorrow looking forward to getting to know Astro. I've been a Apple Siri user, do you think I need to look into picking up a Alexa devise for better communication?
I think, you need to look into getting your head examined for paying $1,600 for that think. Yeah I get it, it is cute, has artificial intelligence, and all; however, the company selling them should be tossed into prison for the price!
I didn't. I recommend getting it though. My periscope does make a noise, but it has been consistent since day one so I don't think there's an issue with mine. Would a video with the sound of mine help diagnose yours?
Astro is crappy and buggy. don't waste your money on this thing, not to mention when I called Amazon about fixing it, customer service hung up on me 2 times. their service people hardly speak English and you can barely understand them when they speak. Wait till they get all the bugs out first. Get a Temi robot that is all smoothed out. I even sent my 1 gen robot back to them to check it out when it did start working a lil buggy. they updated my robot to version 2 and sent it back in a timely fashion to the tune of 900.00 but they charged me nothing.
I did. But it turned out to be a Ring issue. I haven’t figured it out, but when it worked it was just a matter of blurting out my voice PIN. I can do the same with Alexa to disarm though so I don’t use Astro to disarm most of the time.
