I hope they can update the robot to do stuff like motions, actual personalities and hundreds if not a thousand animations like that "Emo" robot. That would be really worth it on top of everything it has.
Hello Mike, nice to meet you! Great job with the review of Astro and I'm interested on buying it from you. I requested an invitation from Amazon a while back, but I still don't receive it, then I bought one from eBay and had to return it because it wasn't allowing me to register my Amazon account even though I tried several times. The seller couldn't provide me with the serial number; so Amazon couldn't help me with that issue. Please let me know if you still have it and if you still would like to sell it. Hi Patty! Thank you for the message. I have to report that my Astro is doing a self checkup on its systems a few times a day. I do not know if this is normal. I have submitted feedback and asked about this but Astro team has not responded with anything. Other than that, no issues. If you still want it, I will have you email me directly. (Yes it’s still under warranty).
@@MikeMu Mike, thanks for your soon reply and for your honesty. I'm still interested, although I'm a little bit concerned about it doing a check-up so often in a day. Also I'm waiting for my money back from eBay. You say that it is still under warranty? that would be helpful. Amazon recommended me to ask for the serial number before buying another one and also I know that you are aware of you having to deregister Astro from your account in order for me to be able to register mine. How much do you want me to pay for it since it's being opened and used?

I appreciate you letting me know about the new problem with your ASTRO and I'm really sorry to know about it. I really wanted to buy it from you. I believe you said that you're at the Bay Area? I was telling my husband that we could even go and pick him up and now I'm sad to know that you're not selling it because of his/its issues. Worst purchase I've ever made. Only last less than 3 hours out of the charging base, it runs hot all the time. Amazon sent a replacement, same thing. At this point I'm beyond the return period. Do yourself a favor and dont by an Astro. Now more than ever, because with Amazon sacking the Alexa and robotics department, who knows what the future of this very uncooked product will be.
