A little side note on frixion pen, if you did accidentally placed your notes somewhere where it gets too hot and erases it you can also place in the freezer and the notes you’ve written will reappear.

Also apparently they are great for sewing 🪡, marking the fabric with cutting lines etc and then anything left on the item just irons off and then any “residue of the magic” washes out

The UPS store accepts mail as well, so they can take USPS. UPS also has a shipping option called UPS SmartPost. It uses UPS to ship an item but it gets delivered by the Post Office to the customer. It’s a little cheaper than regular UPS so a lot of e-commerce businesses use it. I used to work shipping and receiving for an online store :)

I agree it’s a great desk chair. I bought it for my daughter who has cerebral palsy. It’s perfect for her because it’s so wide, she can easily get herself in it and I don’t worry about her falling off the side. So if you have any subbies who have children who disabilities or elderly loved ones who are prone to falling/not stable on their feet this is a great desk chair for them.

I left usps or fedex things with my UPS store because they said it was okay, I was FULLY prepared to bring it myself. Package got to the destination just fine. Also, “wherever you want your bananas hangin” gave me a fit of giggles. Perfectly delivered.

My daughter uses them as a break from her studies or anytime she wants her brain to wind down. She has quite a big one that she is doing atm so she has managed rearrange her rather small bedroom to fit an easel in the corner so that anytime she needs a break all she has to do is fill the little jar of water for cleaning the brush and she is ready to go. It even brings me joy whenever I go into her room to see the progress she is making. It’s like watching art grow.

Very random but if you’re traveling (flying) with a sinus infection I HIGHLY recommend you buy ear planes. They’re ear plugs that help with the pressure. You put them in when you get on the plane before they start pressurizing the plane and I don’t take mine out until I’m getting off the plane. They are soo necessary. I thought my ear drums were going to explode and these helped so so much.

I love erasable pens, but have a great story! I sign checks for my office and one time signed a couple that were going to be used while I was gone. The next day our account loaded one in the printer and after printing noticed there was no signature. He thought he’d made a mistake and ran another one… this time he was sure that had been one. He called some other people to watch to make sure he wasn’t crazy. He had to call me and was so confused. I realized I’d accidentally used an erasable pen (which he didn’t know existed) and the heat and friction it right off! It would have been a great prank if I’d thought about it!

I'm not sure when the Pilot Frixion pen came to North America, but I'm pretty sure they came out in Asia about 15 to 20 years ago. I've definitely been using them in planners and journals ever since I was a teenager, and it's still one of my staple stationery now! It was such a relief to find it in Walmart when I moved to Canada. 😄

Me and my 2 toddlers just got over our first sinus infections. Since I'm heavily pregnant it lasted for weeks and weeks and I couldn't take antibiotics. It was definitely a learning curve for me. It doesn't help that I live in the state with the highest pollen count (MD). Thank goodness for allergy nose spray, a humidifier, lots of vicks rub, tea, and rest. Now I'm enjoying this favs vid to kick off the weekend ❤

Oh my gosh I had to stop and comment about flying with a cold. I had Covid and had to fly emergency to say goodbye to my mom because she had had a massive stroke in ICU. Double masked 1 hour flight home, but it was the most insane painful burning pressure in my sinuses I have ever felt!!! Hope you feel better soon and have a good trip.

I bring all my USPS stuff to UPS because they are faster and more efficient. I can also usually avoid long lines. Giving up tracking information is worth it for the time you save, in my opinion.

Re/ paint by number- they have amazing ones for kids. I have a 5 year old and she loves them! They are challenging enough but keep her attention. They are canvas as well and have unicorns, llamas, all the things a 5 year old girl wants!

Jessica, I recommend the Kokuyo Pasta markers! They are also refillable so if you have a colour you like you can refill it :) they're the gel style highlighters and have a rectangular tip.

Frixion pens are THE BEST! Learned about them from my daughter’s teacher. The erase due to the heat from Frixion. Don’t leave them in your car. I did that at work once, on the dash while in break & it was GONE!!! It’s pretty much all I use for stuff I don’t need to keep. Oh, they have erasable highlighters too. Very pastel though.

As far as your UPS/USPS question, the way I understand it, is that *most* UPS locations are willing to take your prelabeled mail, since the mail truck stops there. But I've had one location tell me they don't do that

Yes ups and usps pickup from each other every couple of days by me. Might be more frequently in other areas. Also if you put ups in your mailbox with flag up they will take it and ups will pickup from post office. If you have sick kids or something it’s a game changer😊

I LOVE pilot frixxon pens. I used them during vet school to color code all the time. They have erasable highlighters too (or they used to). I have heard if you put the page back in the freezer after it gets too hot, the ink comes back? Maybe do a test. My school mate did it once and it worked. Magic lol

We love the glass jar cups too!! They are our smoothie/milkshake cups. The straws are big enough for thicker drinks and the kids can’t pull them out. We do take the sleeves off from time to time but they’re super easy to take on and off and just go right in the top rack of the dishwasher. 10/10 recommend!!

We used those erasable pens at the car dealership I used to work at. They’re great if you mess up on title work. The ink definitely fades when exposed to heat, so don’t sit your coffee on it! 😅

I have a story about the erasable pens. First of all….i am old! I worked in a bank when we first heard about erasable pens. Probably late 1970s. Banks were freaking out because a recipient of a check could in theory erase the check amount and replace with another amount. Don’t do that! 😉 Jackie from Indiana
