Thank you for posting a semi-obscure title like this. I played it when I was a kid, on an Apple IIe. This and Fahrenheit 451.

Interesting side note... this game was originally going to be called Congo, tying into Crichton's book by the same name. However he didn't realize it but he had sold the rights to a game version to other parties. So he renamed it Amazon. However you can still see the influences of Congo in the game, like the character wearing an African war mask at the 1:00 mark.

I'm curious what version has the best graphics. I'm having troubling finding video of the Atari ST version, which I suspect may have the best graphics. Even the C64 graphics are far better than the PC version shown here. Both the resolution and color depth are better.
