Thanks GG. I have closely followed your videos both on RU-vid and Day One Careers portal. These videos helped me to break and understand enigmatic AWS interview process and land a job. 😊👍🏽
Dear GG, thank you for all your videos and precious insights you constantly share with us! I just accepted an offer in the Amazon Learning field. I am super sure that I wouldn’t have made it without your help! THANK YOU! xoxo
GG you are awesome I start as an L5 Technical Program Manager on the 27th of this month. Being able to view your content help me feel comfortable in my interview process. I believe you produce the best Amazon content on RU-vid.
Hey gigi my recruiter just got back to me after my l4 loop. He said i got an all incline debrief from all 4 interviewers. Thank you for these amazing videos.
GG you've got some super nice content! I went through your content 2 months ago, aced all my AWS interviews, and got an offer, thank you for the insightful information.
Thanks much for all your videos GG. I had my loop interviews of 3 rounds till yesterday and one more scheduled tomorrow. I guess that's the bar raiser, since I can see the panel profile doesn't belong to the team I was interviewed for. This bar raiser interview was moved multiple times from last week quoting the availability issue. Today morning, i have got a note from HR stating that tomorrow's interview is cancelled and they will get back with the update. What can I infer out of this?? Again availability issue or am i on-hold?? I am pretty positive that I did well , all the 3 rounds.
I had my bar raiser interview today (it was glaringly obvious) and watching this video this morning really helped me feel like I had a better grasp on how they would be evaluating my answers. Great work GG! Now it’s just waiting for the call from the e router 😬🤞🤞
Im still fairly new to the STAR method and Bar Raiser concept that Amazon has. I proved well on the technical side but the Behavioral side not so much I guess? Thus not inclined. It’s been rough but I’m pushing through and the Hiring manager has been so so helpful. He really wants me. This video helped me understand so much! Do you know How long after “not inclined” can you apply for a role again?
Hi GG! Thank you for your videos..the last interviewer will be able to view the comments from the previous interviewers ! Comments including strong hire/hire/ no hire ?
So how does the bar raiser know what is the average amazonian like in any given role? Sounds like an impossible comparison. Are you comparing UK candidates to average USA? The average global? The average Spanish? How is the bar raiser in a position to evaluate skills in roles outside their expertise?
Bar Raiser doesn't evaluate functional skills, they trust the Hiring Manager's conclusion. As the video explains the Bar Raiser uses their own reference points for people they work with at that level every day. They also take the feedback from the interview panel on their perspective of the same dimension. Most teams in Amazon will work with teams in other countries so will be able to pull in cross boarder reference points. In theory the "bar" is meant to be the same globally. In my experience that's not entirely how it works out in reality.
My dad died in the first wave of COVID. He started to cough and was dead 3 days later. It led to some soul searching about the type of life I and my family wanted.
@@amazoninterviewwhizzdayone503 I am so sorry to hear that and thank you for sharing. May your dad Rest In Peace. I am very grateful for the content you are providing on RU-vid. They are a life saver for candidates like myself. My interview is this week. Thank you soo much!! ❤
Good God, Amazon is really into these leadership principles, eh? I read them before my interview but didn't realize they'd be the focus of my interview. Aaagh.
