Amazon Lip and SI Grill Installation. 96 97 98 99 00 honda civic hatch coupe sedan 

FOR ANYONE THAT WANTS A STURDY EBAY GRILL BUT CANT COME UP WITH AN IDEA: Its easier to pull the bumper off. The grill has about 4 tabs on the bottom that "slide" and hold onto the bumper. Take a small screw and screw in a metal bracket (like the brackets you get with cheap ebay intakes) to the middle tab on the bottom on the grill. Make sure its pointing towards the radiator (if your looking at it as if the grill were installed) Screw the down the other end of the bracket to the bumper. This will hold the grill down to the bumper and make it "one piece". Install the bumper and grill together as one piece and it should hold. Not the best show car kind of way but the bracket is hidden and hard to see except for that ONE FRIEND that annoyingly nit picks all of his friends' cars... but it works. It holds the grill steady

I got a lip kit from eBay and the front and the back both look like they're about an inch and a half too small on one side. If I start on one side like you're doing can I stretch it will it fit because if I just lay it up against there both the front and the back lip are too short. I have a 97 HX two-door coupe

Man I really want to do stuff to my exterior to make it look better but I'm trying to keep the bone stock look. I will have to put some better meat in the front but still going to rock the Honda hub caps. Lol
