Mind me asking whether you have an existing store? I just got rejected and was wondering whether this was potentially the issue as I left it blank. Everything else I entered was spot on I believe.

I appreciate that! That's my goal with this channel (all the videos here on youtube are completely free and include the content that you'd typically have to pay for in a course). Sent you an email reply from one of your automatic emails. But I think those emails probably don't go back to you very often? One question: when I uploaded the design to Merch, it wouldn't upload. Kept telling me there was an error. Was it because of the format? The quality? Or anything else that you could think of? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work, Greg!

@@Tao-of-Fortune Thanks for asking here! You're right, to be most efficient for replying, I only reply here on RU-vid and in the Udemy Courses (that way I can spend more time creating these videos for you guys). Merch is very specific on it's upload requirements. The main issues people run into is the size of the image. Make sure it is 4500x5400 pixels. That should sort the problem :) Keep me updated!

Thanks for the great content! I tried to read more about Merch, but the links on their home page weren't working for me, so I have a couple questions: What's their royalty structure and how often do they pay when you have sales?

@@terimarie2079 Thanks for the comment! Royalty structure is just like Teespring, you see the cost and you set your price to choose your profit margin :) They pay out monthly also. I hope that helps!

Got accepted following your advice a few days ago! Just an fyi how it seems to work now is you get 10 products total , and you start at Tier 10 and then work your way up. You get 3 submissions a day but you get 10 products total, not designs. So if you do a design and want it on a long sleeve shirt as well as a regular tee then you only have 8 spots left. @@someshwartripathi8446 I actually got pretty caught up with my regular WFH job so I haven't been able to put too much effort into it. I did hit Tier 100 and they have changed quite a bit of their rules so you can add a lot more products, plus they automatically add your products in their other stores internationally for free without it counting against your totals designs. Just had my first sale in France a few weeks ago :D

I've still got quite a bit of work on the video so it will be a few more days until that's out. I'd recommend getting started uploading your best designs tomorrow. I believe you will be limited to 1 or 2 uploads per day while in the first "tier" of Merch.

Hi Greg, still love all your videos. You started out slow and picked up speed. Speaking fast is your nature. I do it too. Look at it as a blessing cuz when you get older your speech will naturally get slower. Good news - I got some sales on FB for my teespring account. @@GregGottfried You are a rare find my friend. I've been in online marketing since 2004 and NOBODY puts out high quality info like you do without charging an arm and a leg. Seems like everyone in the Tee Shirt niche wants to sell you their $1000 training course, lol. Your info blows them all away. And IMHO, your business model using TeeSpring, Merch by Amazon and RedBubble is absolutely brilliant! It's hands-down the most stress free, no cost and easiest way to have an online biz that I've ever seen, and I've been through a ton of them over the last 16 years.

As of February 2024, if you get denied by Amazon Merch there are no second chances. I got denied and their response email said, "I understand that you would like to reapply for the Merch program. At this time we do not offer the option to reapply after your application was declined." I have to move on.

This is my favorite sites. I am in a higher tier for amazon and have really done well with them. I need to get my success from amazon on others. I have 1 shirt that sells once a day on amazon. But I cant seem to get any success on other sites 😫

First thing, congrats on the Merch account! Sounds like you're doing great! Teespring definitely has the Trust Score so you have to get a few sales before they start doing all the marketing for you. Once you get some sales on Teespring I think you'll see the same results as you're seeing on Merch :)

Hey Greg, you always recommend good tools and stuff, and I've seen there's no grammar tool recommendation here, so I'm going to give one myself, use Grammarly, I've tried it myself for a year so far, was never disappointed in it yet, the tool has a free and paid version, but the free can get anyone going, not only does it check and let you correct grammar error simply, but it also show you the different choice when available, so you can know what suits your context better, you can also check for synonyms of your words by selecting any word and easily replace it from the synonym list that will drop, that helps you expand your vocab. And best for the last, when you start a new file, they ask you to set goals, the goals are how you want to sound, and these details will influence your engagement, clarity, and delivery score, which is also a cool feature that shows you how much your text is good overall, the paid customer can also send their writings to real proofreaders, and also have punctuation checks and other little things.

hello Greg, so I just got rejected by amazon yesterday, I wounded when is the best time to reapply, I did say I am a graphic designer and I don't infringe on anyone copywriter, I didn't link to any website altho I have an account on redbubble and I uploaded some cool designs I made, I put very targeted tags and i share my designs on Instagram Twitter and Pinterest but still no movement on redbubble too i watch all of your videos and i learn a lot but still no results please help me.

I dont recommend using a script since they have systems in place it see that it's not genuine. Focus on the points in this video and use your creativity :)

I would leave out the other sites that you upload to, and rather focus on the fact that you want to upload your designs to their platform. I hope that helps!

Hi again Greg..I tried re applying for Merch by Amazon using another email account I have and had to change the password on it because I hadn't used it for so long.Anyway when I got on the application page it had that message saying my request was rejected and there was other options I could look at.There wasn't even a request button to access.I don't understand what i did wrong.I don't think its possible to have 2 amazon accounts because when I tried to access my normal Amazon account my password was apparently wrong so I tried the new one I made for the other email account and it worked..

Hmm... Sounds like something is off but for now I would maybe just focus on Teespring and Redbubble and come back to Merch down the road.
