Cheryl thank you for sharing your finds. That gadget you showed is called a ‘Danish Dough Whisk’. The triple loop is supposed to prevent the dough from clumping and sticking. I’m a full fledged Empath although I don’t know how different it is from being an HSP. Thank you for sharing your book.🙏🏽

Thank you, that whisk was a question so now, I'll try it again. Yes, I think being an Empath is one result of being an HSP. I'm learning a lot about how being hyper aware of your surroundings can easily overwhelm you.

Wow. First time I heard anything about my issues - sensitivity to loud noises (hyperacusis) since childhood, phantam smells and to add hypnagogic hullicinations before sleep and other associated symptoms. Such a nuisance being highly sensitive. I will look into that book for sure. No one in my circle goes thru this so I don't talk much about it. Thanks for sharing👍🏽! Dee, NY

Hi Dee! Oh yes, I think the book will really help clarify things. It says that only 15% - 20% of the population is HSP so the majority of people cannot relate to what you're experiencing.

Hi, Cheryl ! Pretty blouse ! I'm such an introvert. I enjoy being around people but big parties are not my thing, gatherings where I don't know most of the people makes me uncomfortable. I was a sensitive child. I have always preferred to be at home, my whole life. I get emotional easily. I know exactly what you mean about being sensitive to sounds & smells. I am, too. I will jump in reaction to some sounds where Ron (husband) doesn't. I hope your day & week are wonderful, too !

Good Saturday to you. I imagined I smelled your warm bread with butter, honey and a hot beverage. Mm childhood winter memories. 🤗 I purchased that fan a month ago and I love mine too. My bedroom is too warm for sleeping comfort so it's perfect. I need to check out that book. I nodded in agreement with what you read. Today's Drs are calling the same things you read autism. More labels (IDK) I need to try out breads with Einkorn flour, I miss eating breads.

Hi there and Happy Saturday to you as well my friend. Yes, it's unfortunate that people like us tend to be "labeled" as one thing or another as kids. When I was in elementary school, we had naptime every afternoon. I still vividly remember how it felt to experience those moments of quiet - it was a huge relief because I didn't sleep, I just wanted to lay there w/ the lights dimmed and experience the silence.

I have often wondered about that phone, the VTech, that I believe I've seen at Walmart or Office Depot? I wanted speaking caller ID so I was primarily looking at the Panasonic is my landline but currently I'm just using the same old landline. Said that I'm watching this very early Sunday morning but a lot has been going on over the past 3 or 4 weeks not to mention all that prep for Hurricane and tropical storm Debby.😐

I hope you made it through all that flooding o.k.! Yes, another reason I liked the VTech is because it DOESN'T have speaking caller ID. We have panasonics throughout the house so I can escape to my room where I can't hear the "call from...unavailable."😬

Cheryl isn't Amazon the best thing since sliced bread. lol. I had my procedure in the hospital. yesterday. Very painful but doing better today. Took 3 biopsies of my stomach and now just wait and see whats going on.
