Listen as Raphael shares his thoughts on the Ambassador set while giving you a close up look at the pieces, board, and unique design. The Ambassador is a chess set available here www.chesshouse...
My dad bought this same chess set around 20 years ago and my family has had it ever since. Sometimes displayed and sometimes in storage, and its definitely held up. The only thing showing wear is the green lining inside and even that's not so bad.
I love chess sets like this where each piece looks very unique and clear. The style is amazing as well. Can't tell you how many times I blundered in a game because I unconsciously thought a queen was a bishop lol. Ordered the same one so cheap, 37 Saudi Riyals which is like 10 Dollars.
@@Martifox1wow nice gift... ok then no problem, but if you don't mind please ask your parents and afterward you can tell me please... I also want to give it my lovely son as gift..so plz..plz.. plz...
I do have this set. The pieces didn't really seem that light to me, although the board certainly is. Really nice set. The one hiccup...It has 9 Black Pawns and 7 White. But, I bought it at a yard sale so...
Enjoying the just received Chess Set. My ( Question is to the maker, manufacturer, ) " Why the white cross on the black / KING/ and the black cross on the white / KING ??
What I don't like in this kind of chess set is a lack of consistency, Check: white pieces have a black markers. But black pieces don't have white markers. It's annoying.
i like it, but i don't like the little designs on the edges next to the letter notations. distracts me from the game, pretty yes, but distracts me from the actual game.
that tray is such a letdown but it shouldn't be hard to custom make a new one that's better. and I guess the pieces could be heavier, then it would be an insta buy.
Someone could replace the tray with case foam. Even if you don't cut out the foam for each piece individually, it will probably still close up and firmly hold each piece, and also be a lot more professional.
