@@bethb4432yep, cats are more territorial, they don't adjust that easily to new surroundings. When I need a catsitter, I prefer them moving into my flat with my cats rather than moving my cats over to their place.
no way she would take them unless shes moving. thats acc insane and should only be done in evacuations from tornadoes, hurricanes etc... other than that cats should not go on trips😭 (with exceptions obv some cats enjoy things but hers want to stay in the house)

I agree. She wasn't a great mom but hay at the end of the day at least other than her daughter mamalyn did the time got sober, got her life back on track and is amending her relationship with her kids. Huge bonus

I can’t imagine that car smells all that good. Between the smoke coming off the smokers (even if they don’t smoke in the car directly), three stressed out animals, the greasy food, and ALR. Woof.
traveling with her cats like that is so upsetting. unless she's moving it's completely unnecessary and selfish, travel is so stressful for cats. also i get those soft carriers are comfier for road trips but they're very unsafe in the case of car accidents. dragging her poor cats along with her for 19 hrs for a woman she barely knows is so sad
Oh give that a break I travel back and forth to Tennessee to see my Mom from Illinois. They aren’t stressed !!! If she has a litter box in the car or van they are find. Stop trying hard to find fault with her. She had them in a carrier which is safer than being loose. You people always gotta bitch and moan about nothing.
I’m insanely angry about this if it is, indeed, just a visit. I really hope she’s staying there. Otherwise the cats would have been much better off having her grandmom or someone check in with them every day or boarding them. Twinkie will probably be ok (still, arguably better boarded) but my heart is breaking for the cats.

I took my cats on a 20 hr trip once because I was MOVING. We administered a light sedative under the vet's care, and stayed at a cat friendly hotel midway through the trip so the cats could stretch, check in with us and eat well. Even with all of the thought and care we put into making them comfortable, the trip was really hard on them and I would never put them through that again unless it was absolutely necessary. It does make me wonder though- if Amber was going to fly was she planning on flying her pets as well? I'd be SURPRISED if Amber actually makes the trip back. I totally see her just hiring a company to pack and move all of her stuff.
Any cat owner who’s had to travel with cats knows it’s extremely traumatic for them. It’s literally everything they hate loud noises, unfamiliar environments, being locked in a cage etc. To put them through that for no reason is disgusting, unsurprising from Amber but disgusting nonetheless.
I moved 5 hours away and even that was super stressful for my cat. I had his carrier on my lap to comfort him and his heart was racing the entire time. At least he adjusted very well to the new environment and started curiously investigating the new place immediately. But for any car rides >10h I would definetly opt for sedatives aswell. I lost it when amber said something along the lines "I thought they would be worse" - like girl you KNEW how much stress you were putting them through and did it anyway??
@@Almondmylk I get what you're saying. But if she really cared about her cats she would've at least gotten them medication to relax. She would've stopped by a motel and let them out to do their business and eat comfortably. She literally admitted Rarity was crying most of the time. She even filmed Rarity clearly distressed in the carrier. All owners know that you should leave the carrier out for the cats to get acclimated to them BEFORE you lock them in. If this option was the only viable one, she should've made it as comfortable as possible for them. But she didn't. She rather get laid and fed to death by her e-girlfriend. Those poor cats had no choice, they deserved better.
She has to be moving…. Cats that haven’t been trained to like travel from a young age generally hate it. It’s a lot of stress on them for a vacation. I would never put my cats through that for a trip.
her cats are like 8 thats not elderly. but i do agree she is moving in with her. twinkie is around 10 i believe, so in my opinion she would be more considered elderly than the cats, but i would call her a senior rather than elderly.
I wish amber would have left her pets behind at a pet spa. Twinky would have enjoyed walks, sniffing things without "slowing" anyone "down." Her cats would be well taken care of. But she had to hoard them on this long car ride like cargo.

My dad goes away for over a month at a time sometimes and we have to move our cat, Emma over to my house so I can watch her while he’s gone and she is SO sad and scared in the car. I have to hold the carrier and put my fingers through the cage and she lays there and rubs her face on my fingers and cries. It breaks my heart every time. Then when she gets to my place she stays in my room and hides under my pillow for like a week lol. Poor baby

I think mommalynn got a rental with the dashboard knob PRNDL because the classic stick PRNDLs dig into ambers thigh since it’s well documented that her big self spills over onto the stick PRNDL. Having Amber in a car with a classic stick PRNDLY is literally a safety hazard. Also that core water is a health hazard to the cats. There are electrolytes in that water, including sodium. Cats exist in a state of dehydration as a default, they get most of their water from their food sources which is why wet food is best for cats. They don’t need added electrolytes, it does more harm than good.

Taking your cats who are absolutely not used to travelling and obviously are super anxious and scared on a like 14 hour road trip just so you can have them with you while visitin your partner is irresponsible and insane. The cats only know car rides from moving once every other year and vet visits (hopefully). There are two options. Nr.1 She will use the stress for the cats as a reason for the cats to stay in Wisconsin while she heads back to OKC to pack up the apartment and get some things done there before heading back or Option Nr.2 is that she’ll stay in Wisconsin with the pets and either keep the apartment until the lease is up or Momma Lynn and her Hubby pack up the Apartment already as we speak and will drive her stuff to her in a few weeks.
If the speculation that Amber is moving in with either Alexis or Tommy is true, i honestly feel bad for ambers mom. I always found their relationship sweet because of my own situation having a mom with drug addiction. I have hopes of one day having my mother be kind, caring and clean like ambers one day. Yet Amber is so ready to force her mother to drive her nearly 20 hours away so she can abandon her for some girl. A mother whose put in the work to be a better person, is genuinely there for Amber. All for some 2 month long relationship fingerlynning
I feel bad for her mom, too. Amber is really abandoning a person that seemed like she genuinely cared. I wonder sometimes, why did she even move closer to her mom to begin with? She could have stayed in Kentucky after she got dumped. It obviously wasn't a big enough priority for her to have a relationship with Mamalynn. I really hope you can have the kind of mom you deserve one day. Mine was an alcoholic all my life until the last few years (I'm 32) and feeling like I actually have a second parent now is great.

Hot dogs are already cooked. So eating them cold is no issue.but like I had half raw chicken once as a kid and now I’m almost 30 and need to have any meat I have well done. Lots ends up dry but it’s a legit fear
Omg I drove from Tampa FL to Wyoming and I was pulling my 38ft r.v. trailer. So stupid map thing always made me go through the most little boonies old towns.( I didn't want to go through major cities) and literally would be nothing for hours but then BAM! Dollar general! There would be nothing! So yeah you are right. They are every 10 miles.
I was thinking this too! It's like the angle of the back of the seat is also smaller than a 90 degree angle. Couldn't have been comfortable for all that time! She maybe didn't know how to adjust that
My cat has such bad anxiety that she poops in the carrier and that’s just from a 10 minute drive to the vet. I can’t imagine taking her 15 hours in a car. Amber didn’t have to do that to them. Mamalynn could pop in to feed and water the cats while she was gone.
This whole situation is bizarre and bringing the cats is honestly borderline abusive. Unless you’re moving you dont bring your cat on trips unless theyre really outgoing or something. Plus at this point her cats are elderly…cruel.

In defense of Dollar General They built 3 in our small town, one very close to me and Im so glad we have somewhere to go besides a "last chance" convenience store type situation, talk about jacking up prices! DG has a $5 off coupon for Saturdays and sometimes a $10 off coupon. The prices arent bad at all, comparable to the grocery store, some things are even cheaper! Many of the people working there are glad to have a place to work thats close to them, often within walking distance and you know how hard it is to get a job without a car so you can save up to get a car? Alex there are no "weeds" most of them are medicinal including dandelions! Love ya Alex!!
In England we have 'Poundland' (£) and sometimes one will be two doors down from another and one around the corner. And most things aren't even a quid anymore.
@@folkloreofbeing Poundland is more like our Dollar Tree stores everything went up to $1.25. However, Dollar General is more like a mini Walmart with most products being full size items with grocery store level prices. They do have a $1 section but its not the main purpose of the store

Alex, we drove from South GA to bike week in Hot Springs Arkansas last summer. As something to do on that long drive, I started counting the Dollar Generals we passed along the way. The entire drive was not interstate, just 2 lane highways. I counted 17 in 8 hrs. I couldn't believe how many there were. 😂 I might have missed a few because I did nap off and on. 😆
Girl fatigue is real!! It happened to me, I switched to true crime for a couple months but that got too depressing after a while, came back to gorlworld because nothin happens, it’s kind of soothing

I understand some cats are okay with cars and trips like this but that usually only occurs in cats that have been doing it all their lives. Amber’s cats are like mine. Raised indoors and only go in cars for vet visits or 1-2 times a decade if you move or something like that. This is just selfish and mean.
Oh no, not the throat tickle! That preceded the absolute WORST sinus flu of my life back in spring, locally this fall some people got fbd (foodie beauty disorder) after their throat tickle and had to do a bunch of laundry. Sounds so gross, ugh.
When I had to move with my cat, it was absolutely awful and he hated it. And I did actually take the cat out to stretch at rest stops, but she’s never taken the time to harness train her cats 🙄 and it’s SO MUCH harder after they’re kittens. it’s just awful to see these cats not even get a chance to hide in a bush for half an hour like Ravioli got to 😭
