The reason Delves got me excited is being, unlike previous endgame PvE content like Islands and Torghast, they aren't being designed so heavily baked intro the DNA of an expansion. These are intended to be evergreen through WoW going forward. Whether the iteration of Delves we get are a success or not the very fact they are working to expand world content and add progression paths for the casual player base gives me hope for the game's future.
I actually kinda hope they implement it if Azeroth gets a revamp. So you could do delves from a very low level instead of always doing the same dungeons over and over again.
agreed. often when life gets busy i have to drop my raid group or sit out on a raid tier and stop m+. i end up not logging in, because i prefer content with a bit of a challenge. to really want to log in when i'm busy, i need to be able to log in and just go do something. hopefully delves can hit the mark. other attempts in the past just didn't do that for me. torghast was especially rough since i love roguelite games. not only did it not feel like a roguelite once you got inside, you also had to farm currency to even get in (later patched out). instead of a quick die and try again, like you see in all roguelites, now you had to spend time farming to get another shot.
Live Weekly Resets should be a reoccurring thing ❤️ Maybe twice a year? One in the US around Blizzcon and another in the UK around say May? The live audience is such a treat! Just need to work on audio issues in the future 😄
I just want to say you guys absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one! It really felt like I was watching the daily show but all about WoW! Spot on, great job and I hope you guys continue this style!
Wait.. What? I didn't think the crystal was a naaru-adjacent crystal at all, I thought maybe it was the tip of the sword, cleansed by the influence of the arathi in their hollow earth zone. We'll seeeee Edit: Final fantasy XIV preorders DO include 3 days early access but it doesn't cost $40 more than the expansion. Pretty sure it's the same price everyone pays.
I feel it’s a bit ambitious , it will have to be better the dragonflight . There were lots of great things they’ve done but my engagement to the story was definitely a little more withdrawn
It's not even fair to compare it to FFXIV, because for Final Fantasy, *every* preorder gets early access - there's no $40 upcharge. It effectively is a non-existent perk, which is certainly *weird*, but since everyone gets it it's not really a problem.
A different take on the early access.. I am going to love to start playing over the weekend instead of the middle of the week. I don't really care about it being "earlier" than anyone else.. it's just about timing to me.
And just imagine, each of the expansions are only going to cost us twice as much as previous expansions. It's a win win for everyone except for the players.
When the entire reveal trailer is a therapy session you know we must be returning to that original Orcs vs Humans brutal blood feud and not continuing the completely care bear mobile game that retail has become.
i am not opposed to the early access, except in my history with them there will either be almost nothing to do and it'll be a waste of time or lots to do but puts everyone else who didn't behind by just enough to make it a bit off putting for them.
They should stop trying to chase a "Faster releases,(Long end of expansions not withstanding) but trying to rush things out isn't good, let the expansions breathe and such.
Who could ever think continuing the dwindling in quality storyline that drove a massive amount of players away for 3 more expansions could ever be a good thing? Blizzard and the few diehards remaining is who. Blizzard themselves hate their own story so much they dont even want new players to experience it. Always a GREAT choice for an RPG and im sure has nothing to do with the horrible new player retention rate that is notoriously low for the genre. Blizzard is killing their game with every expansion and is too fucking BLIND to realize why its happening.
I loved the new trailer for War Within, but the one take I haven't seen from anyone yet is that it's an apology letter from Blizzard and that they will try to do better. My take on the cinematic: What Blizzard is trying to say. Thrall represents Old Blizzard. Their culture and dreams. What they aspired to be and the legacy of games they created. What we all remember as Blizzard in their hay-day. Anduin is modern blizzard. They’ve been through a lot lately, and kinda have lost their way. They haven’t lived up to their legacy. They know it, we know it. Here comes Thrall - Hey bud, you seem to have lost your way for a bit, but we still got shit to do. Anduin - I dunno Thrall, I’ve seen some shit, I’ve done some shit, and I don’t know if I should even keep trying. Thrall - Dude, we all have shit in our past. Don’t let that define you. Pick yourself up and keep trying. All you can do is keep trying. Old Blizzard trusts you. Maybe others can too. Anduin - Allright, so what should we do then? Thrall - No clue, but there’s a pretty huge sword over there. That’s as good of a place to start as any.
I dont think Avaloren is wrong, they said tat there will be some elf stuff going on on the second expansion, i think avaloren will be in the 2nd expansion.
@@northwindx79 It's wrong, those images were using re-used assets. We know Blizzard re-uses a lot of things, but zone assets from expansion to expansion.
im not talking about pictures, i was talking about avaloren name. we need to wait for next blizzcon to verify avaloren, i think it will be on the 2nd expansion on this saga thing@@JavierSegura
You mentioned on twitter that there were issues with the recording so ABSOLUTELY stellar job w/ the editing. Whatever you did was magic, could barely tell there were any issues at all!
Missing out on the crowded zones, general chat full of silly memes and the boats not working is something Im really going to miss and no I'm not being sarcastic.
This has become one of those rare occasions where i have had to take a look at what has been revealed, what have been said and ask myself if it is worth it? I don't think so, so for the first time since vanilla i will grab the cheapest option. A mount, a transmog and 3 days of early access is not worth 40 dollars on top of an expansion that might potentially be smaller than previous expansions. I hope that more people feel this way and realize that you don't need any of that extra nonsense at a premium to enjoy the expansion and opt for the cheapest version, so that it sends a message to the accountants that "oh yeah we went too far this time, let's not do this for the next one.".
@@SoulravenIX lol I hope it's not smaller than the previous ones and I don't care about early access. But the mount is very worth it. Not only did it come with it's own race courses, but it has it's own unique ability too, it replaces the wasteful twirl. (pity we can only use it for those courses though 😅but in open world it's the best)
The weekly reset live was a joy to be a part of, thankyou both. Meeting you at Blizzcon and after the reset was also incredible and made the best weekend, even better! 💕
The difference with FFXIV Endwalker's early access was that it came with ANY version as long as you pre-ordered it. Not as part of a premium/deluxe package.
T&E have been making fun of Bellular's release schedule of videos for many years. As far as I know, it's just good-natured ribbing, contrary to Tali's open deep seated loathing of Heelsvsbabyface (which is completely justified as well).
gotta love how Tali seems like he's bumbling like an idiot cause of the excitement that's visibly oozing from him throughout this whole vid xP he's like a kid that just got told that there's a puppy just playing and waiting for him in the backyard xP and then Evi comes in and gives the exact same vibe :p
Little weird to call it the exact same access as FFXIV when all preorders grant it, including the base expansion with no bells and whistles. It's still not a great practice but it's not segregating players into haves and have nots either; if you haven't bought the expansion you don't exactly need early access. Otherwise agreed, and still looking forward to a WoW expansion for the first time since Legion.
Well giving Blizzard's track recording of delivering Overwatch PvE mode, I anticipate that expansions 2 & 3 will be completely different than what they presented.
Delves could bring me back to the game if they really are something to do solo and without getting left behind if I take any time away. I like to take vacations, but I can't raid and do that...
Not only was this fantastic to be apart of, but that intro skit was one take. One. No one delivers like T&E, from consistency to quality it's just top marks. Looking forward to the next one!!
I do think by announcing the 3 expansions in a row, it is setting themselves up for failure. There will be hype and excitement, but it’s like showing your child their Christmas presents in October, then wrapping them up and locking them away until Christmas Day. It’s very foolish.
14:19 Considering the Earthen had always been neutral and all the flesh dwarves sided with the Alliance, this was pretty much the only way Horde was getting dwarves.
8:11 Well we know for certain that Silvermoon and Northrend are getting updates. No idea yet what that will mean though. Personally I'm hoping it means Forstborn dwarves finally join the Council of _Four_ Hammers with blue skin options for playable Ironforge dwarves like how Wildhammer dwarves got regulated to customization for playable Ironforge dwarves because there's no chance of getting two dwarf allied races in the same set of expansions. ...Right?
I'm hopeful with Delves because they don't seem tied to player power (or borrowed power) like Torghast and Islands did, but rather seem to drop mounts and cosmetics. I'll do it for fun if there's cosmetic rewards like the mage tower, but as soon as they're forced gameplay I'm not interested (Especially as PvP'er being forced into doing it to remain competitive)
The Blizzcon experience was a huge L (we left after opening ceremony and never returned), but still excited about the WoW announcements. Wish we could have made this recording, looks like a ton of fun was had!
I am curious on how the storytelling will go for the Worldsoul Saga and Beyond, Anduin in the cinematic looks a little bit like the Actor Stephen Amell. Great video as always Guys :-)
I think we unironically should make a movement to boycott ''early launch'' surcharges. I know I always will. Weaponzied discontent, FOMO and community division. Community spokespeople need to get loud and hopefully we might see it pushed off of other expansions and Blizz games. It sucked for D4, it sucks somehow vastly worse for a WoW expansion.
FFXIV has not sold early access exclusive to the more expensive versions of the game. You got early access for perordering, which you could do during early access. Basically, everyone gets the "early access" and was nothing more than a stupid marketing gimmick.
I was like "huh this laugh track thing is fun and all but hope he doesn't make it into all future videos because the joke will get bit old fast" before realizing it's actually live audience.. 😂 you got me man, you got me
