Discover where movies feel perfect and powerful. Get a sneak peek at the biggest advertising campaign any theatre chain has ever made, starring Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman.
This has the energy of going to McDonalds drive through, ordering your food, then having a lady stand in front of your car before you get to the window so she can tell you about the first time she had a double cheeseburger and how much she liked it.
@Marcus Riviera I agree a lot. Back in December 17 to watch Spider-Man No Way Home, we got excited to see the movie coming up but then we forgot we're in AMC so this ad pops out first 😆 its like the Rick Roll of AMC Theaters
My girlfriend loves this ad so much. When it comes on she gets super excited and audibly exclaims “YES!” in the theater. As the ad ends she claps, cheers, and laughs. I think she genuinely finds it more entertaining then the movie we came to see. Lmao
Lyrics: We come to this place… for magic. We come to AMC theaters to laugh, to cry, to care. Because we need that, all of us, that indescribable feeling we get when the lights begin to dim. And we go somewhere we've never been before; not just entertained, but somehow reborn. Together. Dazzling images, on a huge silver screen. Sound that I can feel. Somehow, heartbreak feels good in a place likе this. Our heroes feel like thе best part of us, and stories feel perfect and powerful. Because here, they are. AMC theaters, We make movies better.
Every time this ad comes on at the movies I begin to cry uncontrollably. The pure emotion, the acting, the stellar script -- it all culminates into a surreal experience that transcends reality and reminds me what it truly means to live. Bravo AMC! Bravo!!!

@@haylinpm8973 Seriously? I've been going to the theaters pretty regularly and even after all these months people STILL cheer the moment the puddle shows up, and clap when she's done!
I am a person that loves going to the theater (quite a bit 🙂) and I really feel that there is SUCH a missed opportunity for AMC during this intro. When she says " That indescribable feeling we get when the lights begin to dim, ..... " I expect (hope) the lights to actually dim. She is describing a feeling. I think if you were to dim the lights in the theater when she says that, you would not only describe the feeling, but also allow us to experience it as she describes it. Does anyone else agree?
My favourite part of the whole ad is when she says "It's Cineman time", and she launches a large Pepsi at an elderly couple three rows in front of her.
ICONIC!! Nicole Kidman gave us gold. Please don't ever remove this from the start of movies at AMC! Me and my friends literally look forward to this more than the trailers! 🤣❤️
It's the most liberating feeling honestly. To just say to yourself, fuck everyone and everything, gonna get away from the world and shut my brain off and my phone off for the next 2-3 hours while enjoying this comfy ass leather recliner and big bucket of popcorn.
@@j.granger1120 In the scene where they're watching the sports game, I said "this is just like the AMC ad" quietly to my friend and the whole theater laughed.
And who said cinema was dead. Thank you AMC Theaters. We Make Movies Better Nicole Kidman ad. You are me reason for waking up, working Through my day, and going to bed. When ever I’m down I realize there will be a time I can go to a 9 dollar film at 10 am on a Saturday and this film will bless my imax screen.
greatest transfer of wealth our generations have ever seen!!! Lets change the world and show what that money in the right hands can change!!! phuck them greedy bast*rds
YES LMFAO. I thought "Nicole" was the name of the lady in the weird couple and that this was supposed to be some weird pagan spell thing, but it as just SO ODD and so much more like an advertisement. XD
At the theaters, you get a big screen though for me personally, I have a gaming chair at home with a tactile transducer so I can FEEL, not just see, the experience.
I know there's at least millions of hodlers. Why aint we seeing more likes and subs? Drop some emojis, comments, and get this trending on YT algo LFGGGGGGGGG 🚀🚀🚀
According to a tweet I read, nearly sell-out audiences have been reciting this in the theatres word for word like they’re watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I would so go imagine if they did this with all sports…. Super Bowl, nba playoffs, World Series holly shit imagine a World Cup hosted at a theatre like this 😭😭☺️ tits are jacked
this ad pumps me up everytime I head to amc theatre. never stop showing this ad. i got emotional yesterday seeing this. now i'm here watching on youtube.
This always signifies that trailers are over and the movie is only seconds away. It’s everything. Never disappointing to see Nicole Kidman speak before the feature presentation. Worth every penny.
I can't believe people think streaming will replace going to the movies. Enjoy trying to watch a $30 rental with your family running around screaming and distracting you while you're trying to watch on your 55 inch television with a giant glare on the screen from your family room window while your neighbor is mowing the grass.
Or you can get the best Oled flatscreen by Sony, which is the only TV that uses the standards set by movie studios to present movies the way directors intend. Movies seen in an A90J truly look crisper, clearer, brighter and with more detail than they do in movie theaters. All you gotta do is pop a 4K BluRay of your favorite film or the latest offering, from the comfort of your personal recliner, in utter darkness -thanks to blackout curtains, which render your room darker than any movie theater. Turn on spectacular Atmos Surround Sound, and watch a movie without any people around you talking, using their cell phones, and getting up from their chairs. I actually LOVE seeing movies in theaters, but sometimes watching at home really hits the spot. It really just depends what you’re looking for…
Enjoy sitting in an uncomfy theater chair infested with lice and nacho cheese trying to hear the movie over talkative strangers and crying babies And I PREFER theaters to streaming

This is probably the best ad I've ever seen. It actually makes me feel something, I know what the product is, and it feels like Nicole Kidman is the tour guide to whatever movie I'm about to see. It genuinely captures the magic of what seeing a movie feels like.
@@tomoore1776 not when I'm up over 300%. But thanks for the advice, I'll flush it down the toilet just like I do with any advice Jim Cramer tweets out.
When I went to see The Batman, Doctor Strange 2, Lightyear, and Thor 4 when this commercial came on each time there was a standing ovation and cheering
Before "Air" a few months ago these 3 dudes in front of me stood up and saltuted the whole time like this was the national anthem. I laughed my ass off
I worked for AMC for a bit and some girl tried getting a free drink by saying she was dressing up as Nicole Kidman and needed one for her costume to work. lmao
Honest Trailers sent me here. And, to AMC: I still haven't seen a movie at an AMC or a Regal. (My friend is trying to get me to go back but there is a lot of reluctance on my end so we've gone to other theaters when I visit him.) Your chains had me getting tired of the theater experience before the pandemic where they thought that the job ended once I passed the Snack Bar and picture/sound clarity was an afterthought.....along with everything else. If it hadn't been for The Picture Show (Used to be The Dollar Theater but they raised the price so they could buy recliners and show current movies. Still less than an AMC ticket.), I would be one of the people rolling my eyes at the thought of going back. But, fortunately, I saw Joker at the Picture Show at the very end of 2019 before the pandemic. A place that understands that the job doesn't stop at the Snack Bar. A place that, even when they were the Dollar Theater, understood that their employees don't want to pilot the popcorn machine the rest of their life and set up a modest scholarship fund to assist their best/hardest worker. A place where, after seeing Joker, I came out of the theater and said "Man, I gotta see more films at the theater". (Ha Ha, 2020. You got me there.) As such, the theater industry kept a grasp on me. Maybe one day I'll even come back to an AMC. But, if I do, remember that you owe it to another theater. ---------------------- Man, I'd like to see them spend $25 million to get Nicole Kidman to say that.....
Watching movies in theater is everything I love and I live for. At the end of the day with dinner, seeing a movie is something really simple making me happy.
I’ll tell ya right now... I’ve never been emotionally happy when I stepped foot into a hedge fund. A theater on the other hand.... what a magical place!!! AMC TO THE MOON!!!!
AMC or the other chains should get together and produce a movie that would be demo quality for their IMAX, 4DX, and premium screens. Just like when Disney or Universal would get Coppola or Cameron to direct Captain EO or T2 3-D for their theme parks. The movie would stay in theaters for years and let people who want to experience the best their screens have to offer see it any week they want to. Get an A-list director like Peter Jackson to do it. Look into the Gold Key Comics characters like Turok the Dinosaur Hunter, Magnus: Robot Fighter and Solar, Man of the Atom.
Warner Brothers used to own just cinemas, they got tried of paying for other people's films, and they started making their own movies. This plan has worked in the past, it could work again.
@@j.granger1120 it could not. it is illegal to own your own theather chain and make the movies because of monopoly laws. That is why warner brothers don't own thathers anymore
@@guillermoramirez2058 actually the laws that made studio-owned theaters mostly illegal were stricken down over two years ago in August 2020. Look up “Paramount Decrees”.
Adam Aron, you mean the guys who laid off thousands of employees then proceeded to give himself a 9 million dollar bonus? I love me some AMC, the CEO not so much😅.
