@@TheMattooine No doubt. I timed the start of ads to movie start for The Batman, and it was 32 minutes, on top of a two hour, forty minute, movie. Insane. They could’ve shown another Batman for every five screenings of BS and trailers, and they have just commercials that air on cable too. That was sacrilege, even in the 90’s. My local theater would’ve thrown their sodas at the screen, if we had gotten a commercial for Walmart, or anything but the lobby and other movies, through the 90’s. I remember people paying up see some bad movie, just to see the first trailer for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, snd there were about 20 of us, who just walked in early, then kept moving seats until we were standing to watch the trailer. Three or four people were calling people dummies for paying yo see a trailer, snd a bad movie. See, there were always trolls. 😆 That was near the end of the classic pre-movie setup.

@@Rohan-jo3iy to be sure and seemed to get relegated to a supporting character all too often. She needed a good “straight man” but another woman a la Aidy with Kate and was comedy gold. Melissa plays really well of everyone and is extremely talented and funny as all hell.

Ive never seen an impression of Nicole Kidman and this one was perfect!

In NYC people laugh every time it plays, they start clapping as soon as the ad starts playing. In many cases people are repeating the most memorable lines with her while laughing. I can't help but wonder how AMC feels about their ads being laughed at everyday
