Yes, yes , yes! I have always felt this. Especially during this storyline where she literally ran away because she was scared of starting a family.

When the others were discussing if they should send flowers or something, Amelia said she had lit a candle in the chapel for them. She knew they needed their space. Then April took of to Afghanistan.

Beth Darvell Amelia and April situation were completely different Amelia had to carry her baby knowing it had no brain and then watch it die. Whereas April could deliver the baby right away and the baby was already dead.

I think amelia should even just call april to talk about the second pregnancy, or the pregnancy after. Because the emotions from that are very rollercoaster too.

Ziva Wernick yea both their situation are both different Amelia a neurologist and her baby was born without a brain. Plus Amelia had to watch her child die in her arms. Where April baby died in the womb he was stillborn.

@@rayhanatahir500 Amelia's more relatable though. People are drug addicts and they do get clean relapse and get clean again. They do lose their children's father and then their baby dies. Meredith is unrealistic. Almost gets blown up. Drowns and is brought back. Loses her mom loses her friend her other friend gets cancer and disappears. Gets married and then ruins a clinical trial and almost ruins an adoption. Connects with long lost step mom. Step mom dies. Connects with long lost sister. Sister dies in a plane crash that Mer is also involved in. Husband's best friend also dies in said crash. Has baby in the dark and then a surgery. Loses husband but not before discovering another sister who also just happens to be a doctor. Now some of that stuff can happen to you but not all that crap.

@@rayhanatahir500 meredith is unreal. drowning, plane crashes, bombs, dead relative. Amelia's character is more real, drugs adicction, fiance dead, baby dead, and people at first treat her like trash. it's just more real.

LOLOL It's because he rushes into marriage w/out really getting to know his wive's histories with pregnancy. Both Christina and Amelia lost children prior to meeting Owen. And both of them had complicated histories with the idea of being a mother. Owen doesn't always listen.

Yeah, I have to agree. Owen is a sweetheart and all, but he does rush into things. They both should have talked about this prior to marriage. Amelia could've said something, but I guess it would be extremely hard to talk about, let alone be the one to start the conversation.

to me as an absolute alex fan this felt so weird because the two of them never had many scenes alone before. they had some where they also hung out with meredith and maggie but even then they didn't talk to each other much. and then suddenly she tells alex something so deep. never made any sense to me but generally speaking i was never a fan of him being treated like the 4th of the 3 sisters, like he had nothing better to do than listen to their relationship problems all day. at least this scene is an emotional one but so many times they complained to each other about sex problems or other superficial things and he was just there listening instead of having something going on for himself. i'm not saying any of this to hate on amelia btw, i would've liked to see her and alex as friends but i never saw a real active bonding between them to warrant such a scene.

I think that was the tumor's fault. Amelia told Owen about her baby but then she didn't remember she told him and started to run away from him. She lost memory, that was a hint that something about Amelia's brain wasn't right.
