I heard, sometimes ago, Dalai Lama said that he is against “Tibet independence”. We just had Juneteenth, the slave emancipation date (like Passover). And I heard Tibet slavery emancipation date is March 28th. Ain’t that something.
The three poisons, US is using them as much as they can... I don't get why the USA don't focus on their own people and the internal issues they have, they are getting eaten up from the inside, people suffer and die for their politicians vanity and self interests instead of helping the country become better. An USA is attempting and to some extent has already got several European countries to do the same that in the end helps the dollar and US foreign interests.
@livinlavidaluke It seems you are paid agent of Chinese Commi Gang. You talk about Tibets History without historic proof. Even Chinese Commi Gang can't prove it's claim. You talked about bunch of Americans history and in middle of that you again claim that even Dalai lama said '' Tibet is part of China'' what proof you have to claim that. Dalai Lama said that historically Tibet is Independent country, but he said that he will not seeking Independent for Tibet. He wants autonomy for Tibet given by constitution of People's republic of China that's all. But after drafting constitution and given priveledge to minorities for their right than Chinese Commi Gang started to show their real agenda and face. They smashed Tibetan cultural structures and systems. Begin to loot trillion of valuable minerals from Tibet. Even cuts down tree in massive way that they can't export, so they throw in Yantse River collected from mainland China. It is like looted trillions and invested quarter of millions to developed Tibet that too aims to build Tibet a tourist spot and earn money from tourist. If you don't believe me you can personally go there and see yourself. Even most of big shops and office are captured by Han Chinese. Also they migrated millions of Han Chinese and given them best treatment over native Tibetan. Force Tibetan language as second class language and building boarding school particular for Tibetan children to brain wash. Again I called you paid agent of Chinese Commi Gang. If you are not prove me wrong.
China should begin helping Native American Indians reclaim the West from the United states. Under all the modern laws and rules, and the known fact Genocide and land theft was committed and that damage has never been undone, the US West should start to be returned to the Native American tribes. China and other nations should begin to raise the causes for this and see how the US likes it?
China must do that , because it is the truth . But that doesn't change the truth that Tibet was never a part of china , till Mao sent its army to invade

As a failed and failing plot, some folks want to split China into 7 parts: Tibet, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the rest of China. :D. China, in itself, is already a hybrid and inclusive ethnic blend. When seen from a racist perspective, they would see many different "races" living together. However, China has practiced mixed or inter-ethnic marriage for thousands of years. There's not "racial segregation" existing here
Same theory: Once you understand why some countries cannot find genocide in Gaza, then you immediately understand why they can find genocide in Xinjiang.
I can not relate to this. Other countries turned a blind eye to the genocide in Gaza. Those who turned a blind eye on Gaza are the same group who fabricated lies about genocide in Xinjiang. Same as Tibet, Xinjiang was not left behind in development and those applying for education are given extra points.
I've written a lot about this, because I'm a Marxist and a Buddhist so it comes up sometimes. (Not that kind of Buddhist though, Tibetan Buddhism is like what Mormonism is to Christianity). Tibet is the US's favorite fallback, after the Xinjiang thing fell apart (and everyone finally found out how bonkers Adrian Zenz is), they were bound to come back to it. If Tibet really became indenpendent again (after the 40 year defacto independence from 1911 to 1951), it would quickly become a theocratic slave state again. The US would be okay with that, we turned Libya into a hellhole and tried to turn Xinjiang into a clone of Afghanistan. But it'll never happen, because this bill is really just a public proclamation that Sinophobia is still cool in the US, no one can actually do anything with it.
A great brief introduction of Tibet. Don't forget that there are many Tibetans living in neighbouring provinces to Tibet. Show Tibetans, Han, and other ethnic groups living in harmony.
Tibet was an authoritarian country with the elite feeding on the produce of the impoverished farmers who could only produce wheat or potatoes once a year. The poor farmers lived in the outskirts of the Potala palace and had the most miserable life one could imagine. The elites were the monks who controlled everything even the gold mine. The land was barren and desolate across, with desperate locals. Everyone was bound by the religion and religious rites, tradition and culture. The progress of modern Tibet is all due to Chinese effort. It would never have been what it is if it weren’t for China.

Is crazy people wants to go back to elite, slaver, slaves status. Idk who these separatists are but they aren't for the well being of the Tibetans today. China freed these people from such misery, bring them forward to a more modern state. Don't forget China was not a wealthy rich country back then, they still have their own problems to solve. While these malicious foreign powers keep using greed, temptation to seduce the elites in reuniting with their old power and continue to undermine China's effort while pushing their own agenda through out the world.
@sotopla1 Well whatever it is Tibet has been part of China for a very very long time and the whole world recognizes this. Why is the USA trying to stir up trouble to separate it from China ?
Tibet has been a part of China for more than 700 years. Before 1950, Tibet was a brutal serfdom under Dalai Lama and had a cast system similar to that of India. The Monastery class were the slave masters and owned 99% of the land in Tibet. As a matter of fact, Dalai Lama was the biggest landlord and slave master and owned more than 6000 slaves. As a result of the brutal treatment of serfs, such as judicial bodily mutilation, Tibetans life expectancy under Dalai Lama was only 32.5 years. Now it has more than doubled.
Has everyone also already forgotten all the photos of the dalai lama with Chairman Mao and other communist leaders. They were happily reunified with China until the Americans started to get in the Dalai Lamas head. His own brother was secretly training soldiers with the CIA for years which they then used for the separatist movement. Whenever there's unrest, you can count on Americans being involved.
@@tenzinchoegyal4067 2000 years ago Tibet according to Tibetan texts was under the Kingdom of Zhanzhung then it was conquered by Songsten Kampoor or TriSong Desten both Tibetans. It was not until 1240 that the Mongolians conquered Tibet. It became part of the Mongolian Empire Just as China had been conquered. On their demise, it became part of the Tibetan Empire. until The Qing took control in 1720. So what is your source that claims it was part of China for 2000 years?
Thank you so much for the video. I have traveled to Tibet myself more than 10 years ago. Indeed they are very religious. A lot of people in the past spent their entire life doing simply one thing - practice buddhism in order to go to heaven. They almost don’t care anything about here and now. Oftentimes we would find a bathroom that stinks the whole block and the next block. And they have lakes and a lot of pipe water. If you ask them why they don’t clean the public toilet, the answer is”what for? Any toilet will become stinky again after you clean it.” We have a middle-aged Tibetan driver who only has one eye. We ask him what happened with his other eye. He answered that he lost it when he was young during a fight after drinking, but the person who hurt his eye is crippled - he chopped it with a machete, so they’re even. That’s what I heard with my own ears. Even Tibet is breathtakingly beautiful, its society would be closer to hell than heaven - dirty, poor, ignorant, savage … if the central Chinese government had not poured so many resources, sent so many people with more advanced technologies, build roads and railways, schools, and hospitals … to make it a more livable and civilized place. Even so, Tibet still has a long way to go. But at the same time every person I met in Tibet are pretty happy with their lives because they do get a lot of support including monetary subsidies from the central government. it’s just very sad and frustrating that the American politicians bombarded the audience with lies upon lies without even stepping into Tibet for one day or talking to a local Tibetan for once.
China should ask the UN to do a study comparing how Tibetans and Uyghurs fare compared to how Australian and N American aborigines(and indigenous Hawaiians) fare in terms of life expectancy, education levels, morbidity, etc. create healthy competition to improve the wellbeing of indigenous peoples!

Tibetan who are stying inside Tibet were not happy with Chinese regime. 99% people will follow His Holiness Dalai Lama’s instructions. He is our Guru and everything since 400 years ago.

When Tibet was already on the map of China thousands years ago. There was still no such country in this world named USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Argentina. Even no India too. Yes, Tibet is one of the chess pieces US used it against CN. I have seen street show of ethnic groups in New York, representing Chinese is falungong people with political slogan. Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Xinjiang, Tibet, falungong all are chess pieces. Annual central finance give Xizang 150 billion yuan. Tibet Middle School primary school learns Tibetan language every day. continuous construction and development...US never talk. they made up excuses for trouble. they are Machiavellianism. what a shame
I visited Tibet the summer of 1987 when individual travelers were allowed. The people were so friendly and the culture and landscapes are amazing. Having said that it was really poor and infrastructure, especially outside of Lhasa was not good. I have watched a few videos of travelers visiting Lhasa today and the change is like night and day with all the new wealth. We actually took a bus from Ge'ermu, Qinghai on dirt roads to get to Lhasa. Now Chinese and visitors can take a pressurized high speed train.

Before communist China introduced modern development policies to Tibet, ordinary Tibetans who had been consigned to generations of the slave and farming class were due to continue for generations and there was no foreseeable prospect of that cycle ending. It was a very feudalistic system. Today, ordinary Tibetans have the freedom to pursue businesses or careers of their choice.

Really enjoyed your video, put your perspective across very well. Having the opportunity to talk with some Tibetans and also having some Tibetan friends, I think you are correct. Personally, I remember one conversation which stood out, “if Tibet was free, it would be open to western influences that would destroy the culture, and MacDonalds would set up shop at every tourist site” I perceive the view of those I talked with as saying they the best choice is China.
There is a tibetian town that is between the border of China and India. The China part has lights, plumbing, basic utilities. The india side has nothing. The tibetians in india side frequently move the border markers to make their town part of China. It is the chinese not india authorities that keep putting the border back
China should bring that part of Tibet back to China’s control since the Indians stole that part of Tibet from China with the help of the British empire! At least let the local native Tibetan people vote to decide which country they would like to be a part of! That was what Russia did when it came to the faith of Crimea.
About this country their govt must know well the history first than said about Tibet. This country history it just little bit over 200yrs only. But Tibet was been part of China which more than 200yrs before pass many many years decades. So this country their govt have " no right " to talk about Tibet at all same as Taiwan too. China History is over 5000yrs ok. So Taiwan is always part of China which history book been wrote black & white that noone allow to change the history at all 🙄.

In short, the Tibetan people formed clans (sai, mu, dang, dun, re and zhu) which were then united into the Tubo kingdom where Songtsen Gempo was appointed as king... Over time, Songtsen Gempo's son wanted to marry his son to the Tang royal princess (Jincheng)... all these forms of unification can be seen in the Tang-Tubo alliance monument which is in front of the door of the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa City,,, where the Tibetan kingdom was given autonomous territory to run its kingdom...
Everyone (Mainlander or foreigner) needs a special permit to visit Tibet as a special region (like Chinese passports are invalid to visit Hongkong or Taiwan). But everyone (again Mainlander or foreigner) can travel to Xinjiang freely. The Tibet has been treated differently thanks to Dalai Lama being enrolled in the CIA payroll and staged a mutiny in the late 1950's. I think this special permit requirement could be waived very soon.
In Mandarin there is a saying “Just like a toad sitting on your foot, it can't bite you, but it will disgust you". That's what the US has been for many many years, a toad...
It's interesting to say the reason for destabilizing or overthrowing another nation or region is to win votes in an election. That means common Americans are to be blamed for the ills of the world? Thank you for presenting your viewpoint on Tibet, Native Americans and Hawaii.
Agreed, excuse for unilateral sanctioning to those regions thus causing destabilisation does seem plausible reason for inclusion of unrelated regions into Tibet province.
Seeing is Believing!!! Before talking, those Politicians need to go to Tibet and speak with the people living there. Life is much easier and everyone can go to School. Regarding the Yuan dynasty, although the name 'China, meaning Middle Kingdom' had been regularly used before the Yuan dynasty, but Kublai Khan was the first sovereign ruler in Chinese history to officially used the term Middle Kingdom (ie China) in official document, which is his letter to the emperor of Japan written in elegant classical Chinese, which you can find on wiki and the Japan National Archives website. Actually the Mongols did not originate in present day Mongolia, they originated from present day north eastern China and were called Shiwei, and during the Tang dynasty were ruled by the governor-general of Yingzhou. They then migrated to present day Mongolian Steppe after the Turks were chased away to the west by the Tang empire in the 10th century.
A very well infomed focus on Tibet. You obviously came to a similar conclusion to those of us who do our own research and reject biased propaganda from the US. Bottomline is the US is afraid of losin its hegamonic position and will do anything to destabilize and attack China's progress. The evidence is the US has already lost technologically, economiclly increasingly diplomatically and only has a MAYBE military lead. Keep spreading the truth about present Tibetan conditions, including their new high speed rail service. The US has become a destructive force in the world often spearheaded by its NED/CIA support for local terrorist/separatism. Tibet will remain part of China along with Xinjiang as the alternative is US military bases, killing and economic destruction.
British invasions probed as root cause of Tibetan separatism 2008-04-18 Tibet, a region coveted by western nations since the Opium War in the 1840s, has long been an inalienable part of Chinese territory and the Tibetans have been part of the big multi-national Chinese family. The so-called issue of "Tibet Independence," is originally an outcome of aggression by imperialist nations, said a Chinese expert.
Britain launched two invasions into Tibet, in 1888 and during 1903 and 1904, in an attempt to build up an exclusive colonial influence in the region. It also tried to separate Tibet from China and ultimately turn it into a "buffer zone" against British-controlled northern India.

The local Tibetans have been very closed in their beliefs for thousands of years. After the territory joined the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, the central government did not try to change the status quo in Tibet. Tibet is like the Amazon in China. The locals would rather become slaves of the monks for their beliefs, but the CCP changed everything.
