When matchracing was sailing instead of flying. I miss spinnakers and boats that floats..

it's great stuff, I enjoy both the traditional style and the new style - there's room enough in the ocean for both.

I know I'm late to the party here but I have to say in my opinion this is what the Aermica's Cup was all about. The only issue I had with it then was the course was probably too long which can lead to boring races. I do like the IACC boats up to the series in Valencia. The cats in America & in Bermuda although great to watch them going so fast there wasn't a great deal of close in match racing like there was previously. I was excited when it was announced that monohulls will once again be fighting for the Mug. I was disappointed when the designs started coming out. I am still not a fan of them. So give me a 12 any day over the new machines for this coming cup.

KZ-7 was such a beautiful boat. Pity the 12m were such pigs.

They look as if they're standing still compared to todays boats.
