He shoulda saved his 1st performance till the end. Some of these competitors make the mistake of overdoing it to advance and then disappointing the judges (mainly simon) with later ones.
I totally agree with you you can get four yes pretty easily if you know you have the skill just do the amount of wow that will get you 4 yeses then use much more i don't know better acts cause judges love when they see development
@@Infurnace6699 uhm he actually had. He had the 3 first acts in mind and then already planned out his original semi final act for a very long time. But due some "technical issues" he couldnt perform it, so he came up with what actually he did, but in just THREE DAYS! I mean cmon, how would you come up with a whole act in 3 days! And he planned out his final act, which would have been a HUGE show, as he told us, for like half a year. Really sad for him.
He should his award winning act for the final. The AGT producers knew about his award winning act before they brought him in and would have wanted him to perform it at some point
Eric Chien has his own unique style of magic. He is equal to the magic of Shin Lim. The share the top stop equally. Both are #1. A pleasure to watch. Never get tired of watching them.
This is a signature act for him and it's always a big mistake to do it first. Same thing happened to steven brundage. The reason shin lim was so successful was because he refused to do his signature act until later in the comp even though the producers were pressuring him to do it from day 1
His first perfomance was worth golden buzzer it was one of the best auditions ever but when you put the ladder that high in the beggining you have to have bigger things coming up next...but it was just a shame that they didnt push the golden buzzer on his first audition
Yeah, it’s like he started off the best magic performance in agt history and just slowly got worse, I think his first audition should have been a golden buzzer.
I read that he invented last trick in 3 days, because with his original planned trick he has some problems. Thats why his last trick has compromise like camera trick. Judges and audience saw everything but they know why is it done. Its sad that he dont have a chance to pull his master trick.
His first performance was the one who made him world champion 2018. Still mindblowing. I don't know any tricks, so I get 0% of what and how he is doing. It is an absolutely top notch illusion.
@@raulramos8326 he slips it in after he shows you the empty cup if you watch closely, I'm not refuting the artist i think he's a great magician but you just can't be messing things up like that especially not on agt
He throws the mixed cubes onto a tray at the back of the table. Thats the main tool on his table. That tray holds everythin for him. Hes to sloppy. His first act was great. Went downhill after that
Several people suggest watching at .25x speed to see the tricks. If you have to watch at .25x speed to see them, which is completely unnatural, then it seems to me, he's pretty damn good.
tu me faz acreditar que ainda existe magias fantásticas escondidas nesse mundo infernal e continuas alimentando a minha alma e o meu espirito com positividade e esperança... muito obrigado Eric Chien
Talent doesn't matter in this show anymore. All you need to get the golden buzzer is to have a sad backstory to tell the judges. Eric's audition was definitely worth a golden buzzer.
I feel like yu Hojin is smoother and more elegant... shim lim is master of cards... Eric is a all rounder he is good with cards, coins , cubes and illusions... These 3 legends are special in their own Way....They can't be compared to each other....They are all at same yet different levels... But at the same time....These 3 are one of the best magicians ever..
In the last performance of eric, the timing of the camera man doing zoom on eric when he takes out the statue of liberty out of the picture we are missing the manifestation of the plain below becoming real from the postcards... ??
I feel like he ordered his acts wrong any of his acts would of gotten him through the first round but his first audition would’ve been the perfect finale act
Not acting like Im a magic buster or something, just an observation. At 2:37 the card dissapears then he laps something you can't see. I saw shin lim do the same thing, he lapped something that wasn't there. I think the felt they perform on has something to do with some of the tricks
this is 10x golden buzzer wtf hes like shin lim LOL I mean shin i always my fav so I dont wanna say that but his tricks are even better then shins, I mean its unreal. But Shins "show" performence all everything around is cooler.. LOVED IT !
and from 6:34, He just did no magic, just hold the coins with his finger. 0.25x can show you... He is just trickily holding the coins with fingers and disappearing coins by hiding the coin behind the coins. This is why he is way behind than Shin lim. Because, the tricks of Lim is way more non revealable tricks..
See very closely in the begining itself......his taking blue card from lower side of deck......his finger position differ at the card placing time to both part......😄😄😄😄
