I had Akita for 13.5 years her name was Panda white and black the best dog I ever own. She was so loyal smart and very protective I miss you Panda ❤️ R.I.P
Absolutely beautiful boy! But it hurts to watch, I miss my Akita so much 😪 and I can't bring myself to get another because no other one will ever compare, she was my companion,my friend, the bond we shared was so strong....still, I'll watch and admire, from a distance !
PYT: I had akitas for 30 years, if you really like the breed, don't let your memory of your bygone akita stop you from getting another. Look at the bright side, if we outlive the dog, who will take care of him? You can have that same bond with a new akita, and give him/her a chance at having a great life.
@@razorback9926 You're so right,I would absolutely love to, I'm definitely considering a new pup, Akitas just get under your skin, don't they? I have so much love to offer them. I love both Japanese and American Akitas, so now I'm maybe deciding between the 2. Both absolutely stunning. I appreciate your advice, thanks 😊
I lost my whife 7 mnds ago, (after 44 yeare..) and thanks to my Akita-girl (6 1/2 years) the life is not OK, but my Akita helps me a lot. Without my Akita...???
Per-Olav Lyngoy My dear Friend, maybe your wife is not with you now, but i guarantee you, you will see her again. Our creator is most merciful and compassionate. Life on earth is only a phase, after this journey the real purpose of existence will be made visible, and all your loved ones who passed are waiting for you there. Live a good life, acknowledge our creator and believe in in him and you shall never die. God the great is one. And Akitas are one of his creations, wonderful and lovely, like our creator is.
I had a female Akita. I brought her home when she was about 8 weeks old. My daughter was about 5 years old and my 2 boys were in potty training. Yuki (our Akita) was raised with them but she was taught that humans are dominant. We enrolled her training classes and she was very eager to please us. Best dog I've had the privilege of owning. Very kind soul.
How can anyone dislike this video ,as an akita owner myself with many years experience of the breed , this dog is a beautiful akita and anyone that dosent like the dog, just don't watch the video.
I just love my Akita! The best dog , and the best friend (girlfriend;) only a little stybbern ;) Conny is her name. It should be my whifes dog..., but she left me (died last may) and I could not live further without my Conny. (I Think)....
I've owned Akitas for 20 years and have had 32 total, they are the best bar none.My male that I have right now is the best out of all of the others, I am blessed to have him!
I have two American akitas! One was rescued and we got him a female as a companion. He raised her and she is the sweetest girl ever! They are absolutely gorgeous' we interact a lot, they talk, they are the best companions ever!!!
I've had several dogs & cats along with so many different pets. Until u own an Akita it's just a different breed of animal. It becomes a companion that fills a void in a life that's a type of dedication & loyalty to u & all your family that money can't buy. I can't bring myself to get another Akita after mine passed away in 1999. 20 years later & I look @ puppies online & I just can't do it. I started my own canine rescue for Akita's & Rottys while living in the Ozarks. There is a need to put these puppy Mills out of business in Arkansas, Missouri, & Kansas. No dog should ever be abused & to see these courageous companions mistreated for the almighty dollar is just plain wrong! The Akita is not for everyone. The courage & dedication to family demands the same character in the owner & a weak hand or distant owner will not do this breed justice to own. I've considered dogo Argentina, Cana Corso, & Kangal. All fine dogs, but owning a Akita is a commitment to a life that's as close to family as it gets. JMHO.
Supposedly the Border Collie has the largest heart of any canine, which helps explain their amazing endurance. But I know what you're saying is true, in the loving sense, having an Akita mix (awaiting DNA results). Not sure about the Border Collie claim, but that's what was said by a breeder..?
Awesome Akita...beautiful confirmation for sure!! We lost ours recently...one of them "Kito" had the wonderful size and confirmation very similar to yours.
Hermoso, de verdad que increíble ejemplar. Cuidalo mucho.
What a beautiful dog. I have just got a pup that is an Akita/collie his dad was a massive Akita like yours and mum was a small collie apart from his tail he has taken nothing from the father and actually looks like a German Shepherd puppy.
What a beautiful Akita. I have a 18 month old Akita and love him. It's been 9 years since you made this video. How is Zion doing now? I'd love to see a video of him now. I hope he is doing well.
Such an inspiration! Beautiful! Cherish your Akita Baby. He's a blessing filled with love. I miss my Akita Brucie Kaboosi. I just lost him last week on 14th 10.14.20. I miss him so much. This video has honestly touched my heart. The first to remind me of my little Brucie Kaboosi! That little snout, the stance, pink tongue pants! those pawsies! That beautiful unique way they connected and built with your heart.
I know the feeling trust me I, my fist Akita was a family dog when I was 15, passed away at 8 years of age and I was 23...i was heartbroken 😔and still am ... thank you for your lovely msg, this video of Zion was put up a long time ago, unfortunately he is not longer with us, your msg means a lot... this boy was very special as they all are in there own way, we will always miss him, I feel your pain, I know it too well now 😔🙏🏽 your are 100 % right it take a special person to connect to your Akita
@@srsvs007 @Veejay Singh thank you for your response. It's never easy to say goodbye. We buried him and planted sunflowers over his body and they're sprouting! I still cry every day. I just got home today and it's an awful feeling that he's not here. I miss him so much. I feel him with me still. Brucie and Zion will forever live in our hearts. I'm grateful that others can love another innocent creature so deeply. Maybe our sweethearts found eachother in the next place and are playing and being goofballs!! I'd like to think so. ♡ X♡X♡ sending love. ♡♡♡♡♡♡
With respect ... don't get an Akita just because they are beautiful. They are certainly that. They are also strong willed, challenging, and dominating. This breed is beautiful, loyal, and devoted ... in the right hands. They take a LOT of work, and patience, to bring to a healthy, sociable adulthood.
Wow, he is almost as beautiful as my Akita Rocco. That Sir, is the highest compliment I can give. I love Akitas. They are absolutely wonderful companions especially for young children.
I used to hate dogs because of bad experiences with roommates not training their dogs at all and my motorcycle seat, shoes and headphones paying the price because of it. Not to mention always coming home to wonderful surprises of feces and urine all over everything. Yay. One day while looking for bear deterrents online i came across Akitas and fell in love. Now I have a 7 month old Akita boy. I cant go ten feet without somebody stopping me and commenting how beautiful he is. Supposedly Akitas are difficult dogs and Ive never had another dog to compare it to but you just have to be extremely diligent in your discipline. If not then I could see how an Akita could walk right over its owner. Oh yeah and he loves kids and all dogs since I have been taking him to dog parks since he was a wee little grizzly bear look alike.
hey, i have an american akita too. He is 3 months old and looks EXACTLY like Zion from these pics. Can you give some tips in regards to training and maintenance? and something we should be concerned about?
Rudi Kanwar keeping him checked up with local vets should keep ur concerns at bay but be carful if he big like Zion don't let him do heavy exercise after meals, wait a good hour after feeding him dnt let him exercise longer than 15 mins up until he is 7-8 months then make it half hr daily grooming like everyday and for good diet give him goats milk and some raw meat like 1 chicken wing a week to build tolerance for now as he gets older give him more along with some pro plan robust large dog puppy training classes is a must if it's ur first time owning Akita trust me
Just got mine 12 days ago. He's 10 weeks and 20 lbs. I can sware he grows daily!! He's like Clifford...lol They definitely need discipline or I can see how easily they can get out of control.
