Произношение на русском весьма достойное! И как правильно говорил Стив Кауфман, его русский вполне понятен и без полного соблюдения грамматики, потому что в русском языке на мой взгляд в отличие от английского, грамматика больше придает красоты звучания языку, чем смысловой нагрузки, ибо можно даже толком ее не зная, говорить одними инфинитивами и все равно даже в самой глухой сибирской деревушке люди вас поймут.
@VladimirNox
@VladimirNox 2 года назад
Это всё от того что в русском языке нет чёткой последовательности слов в предложении. И формулировать свои мысли наверное проще,но и наверное не у носителя от этого путаница возникает в голове. Плюс у русского очень хорошее слово образование, можно даже коверкать слова, и они будут понятны, либо же вообще придумывать новые на ходу)

My mother is Swiss and my father was Italian. He had worked a couple of years in Germany before meeting her and he could speak German. When I was a kid my father didn't want my mother to speak Swiss German to me, so we always spoke in Italian. Then when I was 18 we moved to German-speaking Switzerland and I was forced to learn a language that was almost unknown to me. Also, my father made me choose French instead of English at school only because we had relatives living in French-speaking Switzerland. I'm glad I learned French, but even then it was clear that English was a more useful language. Eventually, I learned English on my own by watching movies and TV series and reading websites in English. I still resent my father for not raising me bilingual.

Why didn't he want you know Swiss German? Swiss German is hard to learn because everywhere people just teach high German, but not Swiss. Anyway, German is probably one of the most useful languages to know in Europe. Im now living in Switzerland and have to learn German.. its an impossible task for me because I don't actually like it. I wish I just somehow knew it as a child. If parents can, they should ALWAYS teach languages to their children even if they don't think that they will need it... because one never knows and because each language teaches us something else and extra.

Изучение русского языка, чтение и прослушивание великих писателей русской литературы и многое другое, знакомство с русскими людьми было важным событием в моей жизни. Русский открыл дверь чешскому, украинскому и польскому. Нынешние события не только печальны и трагичны, трагичны для Украины, но и трагичны для тех россиян, которые видят и понимают, что происходит. Я надеюсь, что их число увеличится, и в ближайшее время. Их судьба не должна быть связана с их нынешним правительством.

I cracked up when Steve said "Alguien me coge en el coche" because in much of Latin America (with the exception of Colombia and maybe some other countries) it has a meaning other than "Someone picks me up in the car." The language I'm studying now is Norwegian. Years ago I read a book by Barry Farber called "How To Learn Any Language" (1991 edition) and in it he mentioned that one should learn Norwegian first because Swedes and Danes have a hard time understanding each other in their native languages but Norwegians can deal equally well with Swedes and Danes in their native language. I had a Norwegian pen-pal for 10 years and while she taught me some of her language, her English was perfect. Now I'm using Assimil (through French; I had a French pen-pal for 10 years also), Duolingo and Netflix. I'd also like to learn Polish and Romanian, but one language at a time. Still, both say "pa" for "bye" whereas Russian uses "пока" instead.

I'm very impressed by his level in French. He caught many typical expressions that are generally only used by native speakers (like "J'ai envie de te dire", "je dois dire"...). Of course his accent doesn't sound native but that's not the most important thing. I completely agree about what he said in the Spanish part, the most important thing is to be able to have a good passive vocabulary and to be able to make you understand when you speak the language. In my case for example I don't speak Spanish but I understand it very well (thanks to my knowledge in Italian and French) and some additional vocabulary I naturally learnt, at a point I didn't need to read the subtitles. One day I met a Spanish guy who needed an information but the only language he was able to speak was Spanish. I managed to help him with a mix of French and Italian.

The black guy is impressive with the italian, he really spoke well, he was very fluid (probably the most impressive thing), and pretty often pronounced words perfectly, like people do in italy. The other guy was good, but not perfect, as he already said, he forgot quite a lot of it, and was mixing a lot of spanish in it. I still understood him well, but i could tell he forgot some things In spanish the black guy was good, but not as perfect as with the italian, and from time to time he sounded like an italian trying to speak spanish, so i believe he learnt italian before spanish. Still, it was good, i could understand him perfectly, he just misses a few small details, but nothing to worry about. The white guy was freaking amazing in spanish, his pronunciation was really good, he also had a little bit of an south american way to pronounce things, perhaps he worked in the islands, or with some south americans. You both could be threw from a plane in a random place and be able to communicate with the others, amazing

Its so funny to hear Steve speaking swedish. You can hear that he is swedish but his words have been "americanized". Its really funny.

Very impressive! Believe me there are some russians who speak less wordy, cursing all the time yet they consider themselves as a part of Dostoevsky culture.

Well since both parties butchered Swedish which quite literally have a way easier vocab than pronunciation.. so I must say Swedish is the most beautiful out of these languages. And despite me being Swedish, my Swedish is way better than theirs but it's not top notch, after all it may be native to me, but it's not what I speak natively. I have a Scandinavian dialect that isn't Swedish, Danish or Norwegian, and it is probably one of the most difficult ones to understand for everyone involved, well except for Trøndersk in Norway and South Jutlandic in Denmark. I speak Göingska, or in dialect Jynge. Which is not the prettiest dialect in Scandinavia.

Italian is good but the foreign accent (expecially in the older) is veeery strong. By the way they translated mix in italian "una mescola", 05:05 this word doesn't exist. It's "un misto", correct.
