LOL this movie was sooooo embarrassing. The critics had the most hilarious responses to it. Did you see that blurb she's looking at in the magazine ? "Coach Valentin Saranhoff - Top Gun Of the Tops Club. LOL I can just see studio executives, producers, et al, sitting around thinking up how to separate the public from their money -- and THIS is what they came up with. Easily the most transparent attempt at pure greed ever projected in a theater in the 1980's.
Like The Pirate Movie; many hated it; we wouldn't admit it but we liked it lol. We even quote it," He did it. Steve Tevere has done it. It's a 10.... :) Two Hearts; fantastic song also!
What other movie has the "Soviet coach from Rocky IV, the grandfather from Full House (hehe), and Janet Jones....yummmmmm. Although the one that played the mom to Mitch's Steve Tevere is hotter.
