In regards to your Hanakah statement, and this has been told to me by my Jewish friends, Hanakah is not really a huge holiday for them religiously, but since it fell around Christmas it was made bigger so that their children would have something festive to celebrate around Christmastime. But a lot of my Jewish friends will put up Christmas trees and decorate, because that part of the holiday isn't really the religious part of Christmas, but more of the commerical, festive part. Lastly, popcorn kind of is considered a Christmas food because people in the past, and probably some still today, would take a needle and thread and string popcorn onto it and wrap it around their Christmas trees as decoration.

I am absolutely down to go film in Europe as an American experiencing the shops! It's funny because I actually lived in Dubai for 8 years up until 2021, and when I got back to the states I had almost the exact same reactions you've had to everything since you moved here. Like your complete shock and awe at the cheesecake factory actually made me feel more sane here hahaha. Like "No, despite being American, I'm not crazy, this is too much food for one human. It's an appetizer? What's wrong with you?"

We love you Raphael. I would expect many of your viewers are American. You would probably have a much easier time if you did some meet and greets and met some of your fans. You would realize how much we appreciate you and love you and want to see you and wish you well. You might even make some friends and feel more at home. Terry's Popping candy chocolate orange does exist in Europe - I found one (and plenty of other flavors too!) in newly opened Dealz in Poland :) so I imagine it can be as easily found in UK and Ireland, possibly in other countries too. In Japan, they have SO MANY KitKat flavors. “KitKat” is similar to their way of saying “good luck” or to have luck, so they are given a lot for graduates and tests, etc.

5:35 the elf on the shelf is supposed a tradition for families with little kids that believe in Santa, the elf is supposed to sit on the shelf and report to Santa whether they were naughty or nice and most often plays “pranks” and “moves” around the house to show the kids that it’s a “real” elf (aka the parents doing it while the kids sleep)
