Hi you two:) We’ve all heard & possibly tried Single Malt Scotch whisky, Very nice it is too, BUT, did you know there is an English Whisky produced in Devon? As you know with the Scotch you can taste & smell the peat of the highlands, well I swear you can taste the Granite of the Moors in Devon. Just saying:)

I used to buy them in the early 70's from the school tuck shop. 2 new pence each. And I used to like Club 'fruit' or 'coffee' versions. In fact I liked most chocolate bars that came with coffee flavour versions but you hardly ever get anything other than limited runs of Kit Kats that seem exclusive to Milton Keynes.

Living in Spain I can identify with looking for UK products abroad. There is always a mark up on price also. Not as much as the USA though. I do love Colman's mustard, Bovril is much better than marmite! Since Brexit British goods are not so available now. Spain produces a lot of their own cheese, not a patch on British cheese.

Do you have a yard? Buy some marrowfat pea seeds and grow your own mushy peas, it's what I do and they're delicious as well as super cheap! Debbie has great taste, Curly Wurly's are elite level! The mark up is eye-watering, I just got that exact 12 pack of Walkers crisps from Tesco for £3, but imported goods are always expensive wherever you live, I'd strongly advise you try the Fox's triple as they're excellent!!!! You can cook mushy peas for a lot less than that. Are dried marrowfat peas available in the US? If so, just soak a load of those overnight, after adding a heaped dessertspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda. In the morning, drain and rinse them thoroughly, then boil them slowly until 'the mushiness' takes over, add salt to taste and serve. Try serving them with malt vinegar - they'll be delicious. As a child if we'd had mushy peas with our lunch, I'd have a mugful of what was left over for my supper, totally drowned in malt vinegar - Mmmm lovely!

The fact the sausages had ‘bangers’ actually written on the label made me laugh! You’d never see that over here. Although, we do sometimes refer to sausages as ‘bangers’, it will never actually be written on a packet of sausages! To be honest, I’ve only ever heard them called ‘bangers’ if they’re with mash - ‘bangers and mash’ . Any other time they’re just sausages. We really don’t call them ‘bangers’ as much as people think we do!

Raisin & Biscuit Yorkie was the highlight! If you like Fruit'n'Nut, then you'll probably enjoy that. Do they do Gentleman's Relish? A spiced anchovy paste, usually spread thinly on hot buttered toast. Also an ingredient in the wonderfully named Scotch Woodcock. Little Scarlet is the closest thing I've found to my Nan's strawberry jam (1970s/80s). Even in the UK, it's £4.60! The quince jelly, to the right of it, is worth trying. Nice on buttered crumpets or (English) muffins. Also good with Cheddar cheese. Yorkshire Brack (if they have it) is a fruitcake made with tea. Nice with a slice of Wensleydale cheese and a cup of tea (with milk 😉) . Red Leicester is (IMHO) the best cheese for a cheese toastie (with thinly-sliced tomato, so the inside is like lava!). Getting really good fish and chips is difficult in the UK, so I wouldn't hold out much hope in Ohio... Thank you for the video, N&D.✌

@@TheNatashaDebbieShow Thank you! Well done Natasha. I’ve had the toughest year of my life (I hate saying that when I think of the suffering in Gaza) but I’ve stayed clean & now I know I can ‘Do’ life Sober whatever it throws at me ❤️

That Haggis is a pretty decent one, worth a try if you've not before. Its a shame the prices are so inflated, its the same for us though my 7year old likes the American candy but it costs a small fortune.

LOL, I was born in Nottingham & have visited the 'Royal Oak' a few times, but never heard THAT accent before 😂😂Yeah, here in the U.K. we've been hit hard by the latest price rises for sure! as well as manufactures shrinking the size of products, which nobody seems to notice or mind it seems... some of those prices aren't too bad to be honest! Great channel, keep it up 👏🤙🖖✌🤘👌👍🍻

From the UK here. That cheese section has a good selection but personally I like my cheese plain and not infused with weird flavours. Give me a quality plain cheese with pickles and chutneys on the side, I love my pickles and chutneys.

I remember when the marketing for Yorkie bars was a little inappropriate. It was about a big tough chocolate bar for big tough trucker types. The packet had the tag line “Not for girls”.

Haggis tastes like savoury mince (what you called ground beef, with seasoning and vegetables like peas and corn.) Definitely worth a try! Great with mashed potato

Tiptree is sooo good. Little Scarlett is the most expensive variety of strawberry in the world. Tiptree own the variety. It's about £5 a jar. I actually have a video up showing around the Tiptree factory and how they make jam and a bit on its history. Its about 10 minutes "Made In Britain - How Tiptree Jam is made"

LOL i buy mushy peas by the tray, i have them with a butchers pork pie and mint sauce. At one of my old work places we used to have 'pie and peas Friday', We did days and afters shift, on days it'd 'Bacon Butty Friday' where we'd ring in an order and get it delivered. Couldn't do that on afters so brought our own pie and peas and always had a jar of mint sauce stashed.

See? I knew Debbie had immense taste! Curly Wurlys are great. Never mind them being a very specifically aimed at kids thing. I'm in the 50s and still love em. And yeah those prices are expensive sure but if you look at them as treats then it's not so bad. Just a shame that you have to look at them that way. (I'm in the same boat in Australia but being from the UK and finding UK snacks here)

two things that are definately worth a try that were on the shelves, Colmans English Mustard, be careful it's nothing like your yellow mustard, it will light you up, the other scrummy item is Munchies chocolates

I don’t think the prices are too insane. Everything grocery wise is pretty damn expensive here in the uk at the moment. Those imported prices seem reasonable. Piccalilli and cheese sandwich Yum!!!!
